Having trouble with app
When I created MFP I put my goal weight in as my current weight (wishful thinking I know) and now it won't show how much weight I've lost because it thinks I've gained a bunch. Can anyone point me in the right direction to correct this?

How many times have you re-started your "diet?"
long term and consistancy is key. I've restarted about 5 times over the course of my life. always that roller coaster! what worked best for me was just finding that well balanced diet and eating it every day and not even calling it a diet, but rather just calling it life.…

12 down, 100+ to go
Okay, finally I'm posting in this thread. I've been using MFP for one month and have lost nearly 12 pounds, which I guess is a good rate for a woman in her 60s. (A very youthful 60s, thankverymuch!) I don't know how I managed to gain 120 pounds in the last 27 years, but hey, I'm obviously very good at that. There is a huge…

I have set mine at a short goal. My first step is to reach 230 then I will work on 200. I think this will keep me motivated more then having to see the big number.

Calories burned
Is there a way to add my exercise without the app calculating my calories burned? I want to stay at 1300 calories but it adds a ton more calories to my daily goal when I put my exercises in. Right now I'm not tracking my exercise because I want to stay within my calorie limit. Any suggestions?

My lost KG's aren't showing up in my profile?
When I open my profile it says I have lost 0kg in 40 days? Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it? Yes I do update my weight progress weekly. It's extremely discouraging to see the 0KG lost when I know I'm losing weight!

strength training and calories burned
Unless I'm entering my strength training wrong, MFP isn't calculating and calories burned for doing it, only when I enter cardio. I'm putting in the exercises I've done with sets/reps/weight. I'm just trying to figure this thing out. Thanks!!
