    OMG, the picture reminds me of one night when I was a little kid...there was this cane thing sticking out from under my bed, and I thought it was monster or an axe murderer there. Totally freaked me out...until I realized it was the tail of my cat. But I remember shaking under my covers for a good long time before I was brave enough to look under the bed and figure it out.

    How cool is that, Farback? Although I certainly respect Bill Watterson's decision to never licence the images of Calvin & Hobbes, that doesn't seem to have stopped people from finding a way to make it happen.

    A bit of an aside, but I have to say the "fringes" of that wave make me think of grasping fingers reaching out towards the boats to grab them and drag them down. Perhaps that was the intention of the artist?
