Geez we are all kicking *kitten*. I like that even though we are states and even countries apart some of us are all doing the same thing at the same time. Kind of like r own little class.
Went to the gym really quick between dropping off and picking Cassidy up from cheer. Got a good 16 minutes in on the bike and did my ab plank and push up 30 day apps. I'm with you Joy. On day 6 and 6 push ups almost got me but I won. My hubby works out at home doesn't like the gym he is like ur son. Push ups no problems.

NSV for today. A put in a top that I used to wear that crosses over the front when the boobs were bigger had no problems keeping them covered. But today I had to keep pulling it closed as I felt like they were falling out. And it was big by the armpits.

Rachel. Try to enjoy the ball game. Even if you don't like networking. Great job on meal prep.

Joy may look into trying the 6 meal thing. I can not eat until late on the weekend but I get to work early everyday durning the week and I seriously think I could eat a coworker some days.

@jdelaroy work on feeling better. The exercise will come

Yesterday was just one of those days and every time I tried to log on life just got in the way but again we are all on the right track and even if we have fallen and skinned our knee we are still here putting a bandaid on getting back on the bike.

So my husband gets home from the gym yesterday and our training is like you need to pick a day and turn it up a notch, okay. So for those of you who do not know I ariel yoga twice a week, normal yoga twice a week (when injury allows) and work with my trainer 4 times a week (I will also hope on some machine for 30 minutes before or after the trainer) so I am thinking I am good, well apparently not. By the time I left there yesterday I thought I was going to die. I looked at him and was like WTF I thought you said my DH had to turn it up don't you think I am doing enough. It was a good think I only had errands and an appointment for the rest of the day because my legs where mush. The good news is the scale down to 143.5 which is lowest I have been in 20 years so I guess it has did some good. Hopefully I can hold it until my official weigh in on Monday.

Glad everyone is liking the 30 day challenge app. Now you got me restarting the plank challenge - thanks (can to hear the sarcasm).

HAVE A GREAT DAY - KEEP SMILING.

@MeinProgress - great job getting up early. I remember those days. Used to get up at 4:15am and it really sucked!!

@dana01996 - I can not believe you started all 8 challenges. You Rock!!

@jdelaroy - just remember all those errands equals steps so they are not totally lost, just part really far away :)

Nicole - I love packing away my fat cloths because that means shopping, yea.

    Goal - 135 by 10/6
    7/11: 150
    7/18: 145.9
    7/26: 146.3

THANKS :) I am on a 1200 cal a day and some days it is hard not to go over while other days like today I will have a hard time meeting that. I have tried logging all my food in at once for the day that way I will stick to a meal today I will be hard pressed to get all that into me

I log all my food the night before and try to stick to the plan of what I am allowed.

I have lost half the weight I need to lose and have taken one 10 pounds each a look for the smaller goal instead of the total amount needed. I just take one week at a time. To those who have problems keeping on track I tend to buy for for a two week period (I hate shopping) and pick out healthy recipes and chose the night before what I am going to eat the following day. I log all my food intake the night before.

I also make extras at night because they are easy fixes for lunches. I serving may be 300 calories but I put in 3/4 a serving in for lunch which will only be 225 calories.

Is it Friday yet? Seriously I am so tired from being out late at the baseball game last night. I don't know how people do big social things on weekdays. I stuck mostly to my plan (added a mang-o-rita instead of the ice cream and just had a few bites of my SOs) so I feel like overall I did well. Today lunch is being catered, but all of Sodexo's nutrition is online so I made the best choices (and accounted for a cookie-yay!). Hope everyone has a great day today!

@jdelaroy Way to go on the slow cooker planning! All that running around counts as activity too so don't discount yourself too much!

@bluepoppies777 Welcome to the 6 meal a day club! I joke that I'm a Hobbit because I have so many meals. Elevensies anyone? :)

@ngolden3320 Awesome NSV on the shirt! Sounds like it's time to get yourself a new sexy outfit to celebrate!

@FitEqualsSmile The weight is flying off of you, way to go!!! It's amazing how much a trainer can push us outside of our regular fitness limits (although it sounds like you're doing great either way on the fitness front!)

@lynne822 I am with you, food prep has been a lifesaver! I love leftovers for lunch

@Ready4Change07 Congrats on the loss! Keep posting!

@joendeb1958 thanks for the encouragement. I ended up with fast food tonight, and over my calories. But it was worth it, KFC (comfort food), and cake and ice cream for a birthday party.

@bluepoppies777 I am glad you found a new way of eating that helps you with your eating. We are kicking butt!

@ngolden3320 Great job getting those extra minutes in. I bet your family is proud of you for making such great changes.

@FitEqualsSmile You are doing fantastic with all that exercise, and it is good to challenge ourselves to do more. 143?! that is great. Almost a 3 lb loss.

Well was frustrated all day, ended up eating KFC, the SO was supposed to bbq and didn't get home until almost 7, it would have taken another hour to hour and a half to be done. That would have been past the kids bed. our Dinner guess opted for KFC. I hate there grilled chicken, so dry. I decided, I had had a really good run, and a couple extra calories wouldn't hurt me last night. (I stayed below maintenance level)

NSV** Plus I walked an additional 20-30 minutes to get to my 10k steps. I think I am at 37 days strait of 10k or more.

Overall not a horrible day, and I didn't go crazy on the comfort food, and feel a lot less frustrated today. I must have needed those extra calories. I am going with that. LOL.

@jdelaroy Seriously, way to go with 37 days of 10,000 steps! That is a huge accomplishment, especially in summer when things get busy, plus you moved! Good job, keep it up!

    Rachel, I've never had a mango-rita, but I know I would like it! :)

Nichole, way to go on the NSV! I love it when things are too big and they get thrown into the donation box! Such a good feeling. I'm wearing a dress that is getting a bit too big, so I know it will be gone by the end of the summer. Yeah!

Karen, you are seriously killing it. I think you may be related to the energizer bunny, because you go at high speed! Good for you for pushing your work outs, and doing so many of them! you will be reaching your goal before any of us, leading the pack! Thanks for the motivation, it's working for me!

I did my 30 day challenges last night. Let's just say that 4 push ups is seriously way harder than it should be. I've never done 'real' pushups before, always done them on my knees. But I am doing them if it kills me! Dana, I don't know how you are doing all 8 of the challenges, I'm just going to do the 3 this time, maybe after the 30 days I will add more and do them again at Beginner level 2!

I'm going to weigh in tomorrow and report back. I have not gone over my cals, and have been very mindful (self discipline!!), so I think I will be happy tomorrow when I weigh. Something has clicked for me, and just knowing that we all have a weight loss goal by October, and everyone is working hard towards it, I have not strayed from my plan at all. It feels good to be on track! Thank you guys, I'm feeling better than I have in months!

Thanks for all the nice comments. It has been a good week but I think it is a lot of salt I have worked off. I am sure I will also see a bounce back. Part of problem with weighing yourself everyday - I just can not seem to avoid it.

@Ready4Change07 - welcome aboard. Feel free to check in and post often.

@jdelaroy - great job on the walk. I so miss KFC. They have all closed around us, even the Popeyes are gone.

Hi. I'm looking to join a core group too so please feel free to add me. I'm 35, from the UK and looking to lose a little of 20lbs. I've felt that since I've been part of the MFP community I am a lot more motivated so joining a group would be even better.

@RueJue To join this group, you just need to post to the thread. Most of us who post regularly, have a weight loss goal for the end of September/Beginning of October. So we will post a weekly weigh in. We also try to post a NSV (non scale victory) every day. Something that you did that helped you to be a healthier/happier you. My goal is to lose 30 pounds by end of September, I am down 15.

FitEqualsSmile: I hear you about the temps! I’ll be glad to get in the 80s for awhile! Today is suppose to be cooler! WAY TO GO!! The lowest in 20 years! That is an achievement!!! You rock girl!! That dress is going to look divine!!!! =) I am a daily weigher as well, but usually you know when it’s water or sodium… just go with it and if you hit it once, you will easily hit it again as you are right there!! You’re doing this!

ChangesisaDecision: Way to go with bootcamp!! Love the motivation quote too!

Nicole: What us parents do for our kids! Hope you at least had fun at the fair!! Nice NSV!! Love when things feel big!!

Joy: I love having a twin! =) I used to do that and it worked really well for me! I really need to go back to it! I would eat every 2 hours and you are right, you never get hungry! I usually did one meal for dinner and skipped the last snack. It was hard for me to cook dinner for the family and eat very little of it! Thanks for the reminder.. I need to download that app!! =) I think it would be fun to do with my daughter! Glad your head is in the right place! That is ¾ of the battle! So glad you are feeling good and you are going to do great with that attitude!! You got this lady!!!

Janetay: Kayaking was fun and crafting tomorrow! I hope to get a lot done!! =)

Me: YAY! Great NSV… Way to get the run in early!! Feels so good!

Rachel: We got a little bit of rain in our basement but sounds like we were lucky compared to a lot of people! At least ours isn’t a finished basement, so nothing was ruined. I don’t like giving up my evenings either! Hope you had fun and enjoy your mang-o-rita!! =)

Jdelaroy: Way to go on the crockpot dinner! Always good when you save calories for ice cream! =) Sorry you aren’t feeling well… Hope you are better today! I’ve had a chest cold that just won’t let up! Ugh! I hate summer colds! Way to go on your steps!!! =)

Dana: We have sunshine but it’s so hot and humid, storms build up and are severe! We’ve had lots of flooding and just unseen amounts of rain! Good luck with the house… I’m sure the rest of it looks as awesome as the kitchen!!

So yesterday was a fun day kayking with Lexi. We took Bentley and stopped at the dog beach as well… so fun to watch her swim and chase around! Then we headed to a sunflower field and had fun taking pictures and being silly! It was so beautiful!!! Ended the night watching a movie together as a family and just chilling. Unfortunately I did not hit my step goal yesterday as I took my fitbit off while kayaking and well 3 hours with it off put me behind. I should’ve went for a walk though when we got home… not enough hours in the day! I will be back at it today!! =) Tomorrow, I have the day off and will be doing crafting and hopefully getting my new closet doors painted! My hubby wants me to bring him lunch, so that will take some time out of my day! But at least I will bring him lunch and not go somewhere for the extra calories! Otherwise not much new here. I have a 50th birthday party and a wedding this weekend so it should be a fun-filled weekend! Hope you all have a great day! Love the we are kicking *kitten* So great!

@MeinProgress - well done for getting that run in and helping to beat the stress!

    @ruejue - welcome to the thread :)

@shycush - sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday. Hope the crafting is going well and enjoy your busy weekend!

@bluepoppies777 - sounds like you are really back on track, well done for sticking with it. You give me the belief that I can get my own inspiration back - I'm doing better but it's still a bit too easy to fall off the wagon at the moment.

@jdelaroy - well done on getting in your 10,000 steps so consistently. I got past 14,000 yesterday with walking to and from some meetings - but working from home today so will struggle to hit my target 10,000. Sounds like you did need the extra calories - can't harm as a one off day and you've gone through a lot recently so go with it!

@Ready4Change07 - well done on the loss so far and welcome to the thread. Post often and we'll offer all the support we can - I've sent you a friend request/. I think cutting your target down to manageable chunks is a smart way to go - makes it feel achievable.

@Rachel0778 - I am so with you about social events on weekdays. We had a retirement do at work last night and he's a lovely guy so I went along for a couple of drinks. Stuck to that and was home before 9pm - but even that is enough socialising for me and I'm glad I didn't have to travel into the office today - would have been asleep on the train! On the plus side, it is now Friday - yay!!

@lynne822 - welcome to the thread - have sent you a friend request :)

@FitEqualsSmile - I've downloaded a couple of the 30 day challenge apps so will see how I go with those. Well done with the scale news - that's a great acheivement :)

So it's friday and I'm at home - trying to get some work done as well! Got a friends 25th wedding anniversary lunch tomorrow which will be fun. Need to do some meal prep for the week for us and Alistair - trying to find tasty, healthy meals which a 19.5 month old will eat is something of a challenge at the moment - it was so much easier when everything was new to him and he would eat anything I put in front of him. Now he has opinions and likes and dislikes - yeeeesh, it's not easy! Hope you all have good fridays and lovely weekends - we are all doing so well at the moment, let's keep this momentum going!

Happy Friday all!!! Here's to hoping we all have a great weekend, and stay on track, or at least don't go backwards...
