He ate it like he was doing something wrong.
I lol'd at this comment.
I do notice what people eat because I try to eat along the lines of whats considered "healthy and balanced". I don't think its unnatural to notice others and what they eat when in that mindset.
Now do I care...not necessarily, but If I hear them complain about their weight or being out of shape ill pipe up with "suggestions". Don't open the door unless you want some level of criticism especially if your not trying to better yourself but complaining about "where you are".
Most of my coworkers also notice what I eat and comment they wish they had the same drive. If I lead by example and turn one person to change I'm good with that.14 -

Well now that would be IIFIYM. Silly.3 -
I really couldn't tell you the details of how my co-workers eat and doubt they could tell you the details of my eating. It would kind of freak me out if someone could.4

A) care about what my coworkers ate
B ) invest any amount of time to even notice any kind of eating habit/pattern
C) rationalize how anything other people ate was any of my businesses.
I may be alone in this line of thinking, but this wouldn't be the first time.
Neither do I, but this is something I can't help but notice. A liter of soda every day, not always diet and pecan cinnamon swirls. That's it. Oh, and he smokes.
And we're paying for his healthcare, if we're not already.
Ha - I was thinking the exact same thing
he needs to have some accountability with this deal, right?
at least these premature deaths will be saving Social Security, one extra large casket at a time.0 -

My husband eats like that...he claims to be healthy because of his last physical but just because his cholesterol is good now, doesn't mean it will be down the road. It's so concerning3

Here's the thing.... people will only change their eating habits when they want to. No amount of what we want of someone will make them change. All you can do is show that what you're doing is working for you. I long gave up trying to convince my ex that if he wanted to come off the meds for high blood pressure then diet and weight control were essential... the change must come from within or it's not sustainable.... I've lost nearly 40kg and that's about me wanting to do it for me.

I wonder what banana dude had for lunch today.
We might have to rename him apple dude.1 -

I'll change his name tag. Also, I'll give him a name tag.0 -
