Kinda disappointed with manual logging...

Maybe I was expecting too much but I kind of envisioned all exercise I did would be measured by my charge 2 uploaded to the Fitbit app then synced to mfp but all I'm getting is my steps synced calories burned aren't even changing I guess it's still cool but wanted the gadgets to simplify stuff to to spend fiddling around making sure the info across three devices was accurate

Fitbit for activity related things (viewing your workouts it auto-logs or you manually log like lifting).

MFP for food related things (eating goal and foods eaten).

Indeed workouts do not come over to MFP, just make a wall post if you have friends list to share with.
They are in Fitbit though, with a better exercise diary many feel.

No calories could be the sync issues many have. Read any of the recent threads about it.

And confirm you have MFP negative adjustments enabled in Food settings.

You could have MFP activity level so high you literally aren't burning more than that - so no positive adjustments.

If you are logging on MFP too and replacing those Fitbit workout calories - then that can prevent adjustments too.
