    Neither while on diet

I don't think anyone has ever been challenged by an expanding waistline from eating too many peas.

I don't believe they are recommended while on low carb diet, maybe, in very small amounts

I'm going with peas. Corn is too much work.

Now...if we're talking about popcorn that's a completely different story and I side with the corn in that situation.

Both feel like little pebbles of sadness in my mouth.

    Asparagus or GTFO.

I remember eating peas out of the shell in my Aunts garden. I love peas. That would be my choice. I agree not canned

    Corn, corn always corn.

To be fair I love corn to the point my aunt got me a case of canned corn for Christmas one year.

Definitely corn. It can be on the cob or off, white or yellow corn. My grandmother and mother used to cook corn with black eyed peas as well.

Green peas always goes with carrots, but usually only in things like chicken pot pie or this:

Both for so many different reasons. How can one choose?! If I had to choose it would be peas. Peas are more diverse. I use it in my bolognese sauce, in arancini, and sometimes in my lasagna. I also use them in my stews. My favourite would be peas lightly simmered in a pan with olive oil, black pepper and onions.

You make arancini? Oh wow that's awesome. love it
Wish I could really cook like that.

I’d like to think we live in s world where corn and peas are equally loved.
