Brownies

I'm making brownies and on the mix it says 26g of mix equals 100 calories. And then in the next row it says prepared equals 160 calories.

Does that mean 26g of finished brownie equals 160 calories?

26g of dry mix is 100 calories.

26g of dry mix + the proportional amount of other ingredients (ie: egg, oil) is the 160 calories.

I use the recipe builder fir this kind of thing, I add in the mix by weight and then all other ingredients so I have it logged correctly. The 26g is dry mix, the prepared doesn't go by weight just usually something like 1/12th of package.

This is what the recipe builder is for. Ad everything to the recipe builder and you'll get accurate calories for the ingredients you use.

And cut to the portion or weight size you use. Most cake says "serves 8" not in my house it dont! so I can accurately reflect the real portion size I actually eat.
