Remember that as we approach the holidays, it is time to be spend with friends and family. these are the days in which relaxtion and good times occur, and a moment to treat those tastebuds for the holidays.

Believe it or not however, there are many of us that wish we can endulge in many of the foods at the dinner table, but we refrain because we may not want to sabatage our diets. Well below are a few things to consider to making it through the holiday feasts, splurging the right way, and simply enjoying the holidays.

1.)Pick Smart
As you approach that dinner table, be sure to pace yourself. As long as you've been waiting for this moment, take a step back and think for a second. You'd be surprised to see that everything at the table isnt as bad as you think. Pick your selections by portions rather than filling up too much on the same thing. Doing this will allow you to possibly squeeze in everything on the menu, leaving no room to miss out on the full experience of endulgence at the dinner table.

2.)Think Healthy


At some point many of us have learned the difference between good carbs vs bad carbs, good fats vs bad fats, and gained the ability to identify various sources proteins. There's nothing wrong with the dressing, the stuffing, or even that cranberry sauce, it's all in how you see it. So, eat it, but think positive.


3.)Enjoy the Day


Don't be afraid to eat up, you deseve it! By now you should know what works for and against you, so if it fits your diet overall, then endulge! Remember however, once the holidays or over, it's time to get back to work-so don't get lazy!
