Maintainers weekly Check-in January 2018

Happy new year maintenance friends old and new!!! It's a new day, a new year and a new thread and I'm looking forward to it. Very exciting...

This thread is a continuation from the previous month (AND year). The aim of this thread is to have a weekly weigh-in check for some accountability or support.

I've added a new section to record our Average weight from 2017 as a starting point. Otherwise, I feel, the list will be far too long as time goes by, and the thread pages will be very extensive. Will be adding each new months record just as before. New joiners can begin to record their weight whenever they start and do not need to include a 2017 average weight.

Success / Struggles: Kind of overdid it yesterday at New Years, but I feel a strong resolve to clean up my eating today. I haven't been tracking as carefully as usual, so that is something I will need to watch, too.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!!!!

Success/struggles of the week: I lost 10 pounds in 2017. My goal for 2018 is to maintain my weight in the 120 - 125 range. I guess I need to gain a couple of pounds this year and try to keep them without gaining too many. Who knew maintenance would be so difficult?

@Nudgey02 It looks like the chocolate has not done too much damage. Sometimes you just need to cut loose.

@ryenday - I know your struggle, for real. Every single day. I am still miffed about how to find a sustainable balance. It shouldn’t be this hard forever, should it? I’m a year into maintaining now and I still find myself hungry and trying to fight the urges almost every single day.... you’re not alone.

@Nudgey02 I've eaten chocolate every day while losing 80 lbs and in maintenance 21 months.

A little helps you go a long way.
And @pkweier , same here. Chocolate every day, loosing, maintaining, gotta have some!
I knew I'm not the only one, hehe.
