My 3 lbs of water weight has dissipated. I had a significant break through in the pool Sunday, so that's kind of lit my fire again, as I've felt a bit uninspired the past few months (but still working out consistently.) I also signed up for ActivTrax at the Y. It's a computer based weight-training program that gives you a customized workout each session and tracks all your progress. It's part of our membership, so I decided to try it out and see how I like it. Met up with some friends (most of whom do tri's) and did a 6 mile walk on Saturday plus had some yummu homemade tomato soup by one of them.
Remember the medal-less half marathon we did on New Year's Eve? Two of our group members went together and got us all engraved custom medals online! We are all happy now!
(PS If you ever need to do this, they're not very expensive at all!)

Successes of the week: Strength workouts: done. Stretching, thanks to knee pain reminders: done. Steps: overdone as usual. Work: great! Home: great! ( Younger son accepted to same college as elder. Snow day this week meant extra cuddles with hubby and cats.)
Challenges of the week: Mindfulness, compulsive eating, and time management (lack of sleep, house is a wreck) are all still challenges, as is negative thinking. Trying to cut steps back again and up daily cals. Very hard to get out of the banking mindset because I have that “but I might miss something yummy later" attitude. Not really knowing my maintenance cals leaves me guessing too much, cutting too hard, and losing muscle while gaining fat. Since I want to recomp, I need to let go of the weekend and evening super splurges and eat more during the week and earlier in the day.

I've had a hard time getting exercise and have been stress eating in evenings, with rich foods. I've had pretty stable weight for about 20 years after having had issues beforehand for the past few months it's been really hard. Feeling discouraged on many levels.5 -

Success/struggles of the week/month: Pretty good week. I have been watching all the posts here, and I think S.A.D is in full swing for quite a few folks. For me if I just RECOGNIZE it then typically I can accept it and try to look forward to spring. The other thing is that there does not appear to be any sticky on the maintenance forum about "starting" maintenance. Since I am fairly close to that time still I am going to start a new thread which hopefully can be added to to help all the "HELP I JUST MET MY GOAL NOW WHAT?" folks who are joining us here. 7 -

Success/struggles of the week: Done with the cold.....back to 110% in the gym! But DOMS has set in on both my legs and abs due to recent rest and less than stellar workouts! But it’s a good burn! Waking up those muscles again! The weight is down....not exactly sure why! I predict a big cheat meal ahead!9 -

struggles: Still fighting the fact that I am going to have to gain some weight back. Lost too much./ Still dealing with body image issues. I still wake up waiting to be 400lbs. also trying not to read about all the people who fail to keep weight loss off. Success, my blood sugars did not seem to bottom out this week. I also managed to get in a yoga session (Don't judge me! LOL) after one of my lifts this week!10 -

Success/struggles of the week: Had a woosh effect this week no clue where they came from. I've been eating more just not logging it. I'm thinking I need to log it so I know what my true calorie intake it. Will start that Monday as today is a brunch out and will have no idea what those calories will be.9 -

Just been eating SILLY!!! I've been feeling vexed all week since my various health issues. It's like I was sabotaging myself. I was p'd off even when I was eating but kept on eating anyway. Very disappointing!
Miraculously, I've still managed to keep my 10k steps per day streak. Yeah, they were slow and very much like pigeon steps, (hip/back injury) but one foot went in front of the other. So I'd class that as an achievement.
Anywhoooo..... What's done is done. Boohoo. Now, I just need to get over it and get back to work.
Oh I'm gonna be an Auntie. My first niece or nephew. Happy!12 -

Success / struggles of the week: I had a good week, still working on raining in my snacking. And with that being said, I came to the conclusion that I have way too much tempting snacks at home. So the strategy is to limit how much I allow myself to indulge, rather than on controlling how much is brought in / bought for the household. It's very doable, so no problem here. Got some rides to work and a couple of good rides this week. So tired of cold fronts, it's bringing too much rain. I just want a good riding weather, dry with a bit of sun for a good measure.
