You can also try small meals or substantial snacks between meals. Something nutrition and protein heavy. I can't eat a whole lot at one meal usually, but fruit, cheese, and crackers or a yogurt between meals add up.

And I completely understand where you're coming from. I'm 27, 5'0", and 100 lbs on a good day. If I had a dollar for every time someone said "it must be nice" to not gain weight or to be my size, I could probably pay off my student loans.

Carbs, carbs, carbs Calories, calories, calories.

    FIFY.

You don't gain weight by eating carbs. You gain weight by eating more calories than you're expending.

And protein=calories and fat=calories. Glad we established that.

Carbs have 4 calories per gram.
Proteins have 4 calories per gram.
Fats have 9 calories per gram.

Why would carbs be any more efficacious for weight gain than protein or fat?
