12 more days to go till I am done! I am on target to be around 112 pounds (started at 104/105 in October).

I am trying to think of what to have as a last treat before I start cutting. I think I have narrowed it down to an adult milkshake (A Bit of Heaven, Bananas Foster, Truffle Shuffle, and Drunken Monkey all sound tasty!): http://www.grandvictoriacasino.com/assets/1/7/29355GVC_PrimeMenuUpdate_highrez.pdf

Oh and it is definitely time to start cutting - I don't feel very heroic in my iron man boy shorts anymore.

All the milk shakes!!! eat all of them!

Yep, one day until you're done!

Haha! I might have to skip the burger and fries, see how many of the milkshakes will fit in my belly.

I don't know if I could do one a day until I am done. Their shakes are humongous!

Don't know if this thread is still active but I was wondering if anyone else is struggling with their bulk. I started last October gradually added calories up to 3000, gained 15lbs ... no longer fitting into jeans etc... how do people deal with the struggle of feeling too " big" for normal clothes but too " small " in gym

What do you mean by too small in the gym? There are people of all shapes and sizes in the gym and you shouldn't compare yourself with them.

Maybe you can buy a few pieces of clothes that you feel fantastic in for a self esteem boast. How exactly is the normal clothing not fitting? This place is a little pricey but if you are having a hard time getting into pants it might be worth a look: https://barbellapparel.com/

I don't really have any advice for how to deal with it - since that has pretty much been the way things have been my entire life. I am short so I have never fit into "normal clothes". When I was younger the petite sizes were made for people who were short and thin - almost like the manufactures thought that short ladies did not have hips. I tried on a lot of clothes until I found something that looked ok on me. Luckily there is a lot more size variety in the petite sizes now!

    This.

Comparing yourself to others will only ever lead to disappointment. I've read about guys who weighed 250+ with minimal bodyfat, who felt small near 198 lbs. shredded guys. It's all in ones head, and will be your ruin if you let it.

Bleh - I have to take a few days off of working out. I am not the most graceful person and few things happened over the weekend - some pretty funny and one not so funny.

The funny stuff was just the start of my not so graceful day. It started by something I have started to call the olive oil incident. I was pulling the tab off the top and accidentally squeezed the bottle at the same time. There was olive oil everywhere! I cleaned it all up and laughed about it afterwards.

Next I decided to do a little painting. I managed to pull off the painting part without incident. The big mess occurred during cleanup. Paper towels do not protect yourself from a mess when you are pulling the sponge off the roller! My hand was completely soaked in paint. That was probably another 45 minutes to an hour of additional cleanup...

At this point I decided I was done with liquids that were not water soluble!

Later on I was feeding the dogs. I was bending over to put the food bowl on the ground and I smacked my head on the counter. When I say smacked that might be a little bit of an underwhelming description. The spot of impact quickly swelled. I probably should have gone to the emergency room but I didn't pass out so I iced it and tried to take it easy. Then things got a little strange... I was heating up some tamales and all I smelled was vinegar, a little touch of dizziness and of course a killer headache. I ended up talking with my mother in law - who used to be an ER nurse. She gave me a few criteria for heading to the emergency room. Last night I had to wake up every few hours to make sure I was still able to function and my husband had to monitor my symptoms since people with head injuries might not be the best judge of how they are doing!

In any case I do feel better today but am going to give it a few more days before I work out - make sure my balance is fine, am still functioning OK, nothing seems out of the ordinary.

the day you start lifting is the day you become forever "to small" and or "not strong enough"- everyone is hungry for more. But someone is always stronger- or more than you- and someone is always looking up to you.

Do not compare your chapter 1 to someone's chapter 15.

It isn't fair to you- or to them. Just go in- do the work- the results will come.

Your olive oil incident sounds much like my slurpee machine incident this weekend. Definitely play it safe with a head injury! I hope you continue to feel better.

Welp- I'm definitely coming to the close of my bulk. I'm thinking March 15th? Because the Ides of March is as good of day as any.
I'm officially barely fitting into any of my clothes- and I'm at the end of my 20 rep breathing program- so I'd have to start something new and or I dunno- so seems like a good time to taper. And seriously- my work out clothes are starting to not fit- I'm definitely pushing the limits of some of the seams LMAO.
    #fatkidproblems

I am feeling meh about my work this bulk- I didn't do a very good job taking pictures- and I've done a really lousy job of counting calories- I've been travelling a lot which as made it harder. I definteily put on weight- and I feel fat- and I'm certainly pretty kitten strong- but ehhhhh still I don't have the same level of confidence in this rotation- but I guess we shall see in 3-5 months and hopefully I can lean out.

Interestingly enough- I just completed a dance costume- it's pretty much done and wearable- except I set the hooks for the bra like 9 months ago- and it most definitely doesn't fit my frame right now- most of my costumes are getting snug for real- and I'm like- well I want to wear it- but except I'd have to move the snaps... and I seriously don't want to. So I'm guessing I won't get to wear it for a while till I start dropping weight. Hurumph.

back before manic panic was a thing- Gatorade I think was a way people colored their hair!!

I am to cheap to pay for them. The ones I would be willing to pay for- I look at and go- meh- I can make that- and so I never do- the ones I really like and wouldn't make - are like super high end. So I just make them myself. Because- why not.

After a recent GWAR show I had pink hair for days and got quite a lot of compliments. I don't want to know what is actually in their "stuff."

I'm fascinated with the way belly dancers can move and it looks like it takes a lot of stamina/endurance.

heh GWAR. that's awesome. I'm getting ready to do my hair some fun color at some point- just need to actually find a stylist who will/can do it without *kitten* up my hair. :( I am badly in need of a cut as well. It's just ugh- finding the person who can do the upkeep- its' a thing. and I don't have regular stylist right now.

I'm a fan (obviously)- isolation is definitely a thing. And yep- stamina and endurance is definitely a thing. My teacher makes us do all sorts of things "because belly dancers need stamina too"
(my shows are roughly 15-20 minutes long. so cardio- heh- as much as I hate it- it's a thing)

and right now bulking- it's SUPER cutting into my cardio game. I'm so winded after my gigs LMAO.

I imagine it makes cutting easier, though...having something you enjoy as cardio. I only do Stairmaster intervals for cardio because at least I can get lost in an audio book.

I can't quite decide if I want to end mine in schedule, or stretch into another 5/3/1 cycle. Main reason is because I've lost almost two weeks of bulking now, due to a stupid oversight on my part. An averaged gain of 0.1/ week is hardly acceptable.

    Thanks @JoRocka & @leajas1!

I hope that you were able to laugh about your slurpee machine incident later!

My kids sure did! ;) Interestingly enough, I still have red slurpee stains on my scalp.

saves you a trip to the hair dresser yes?

Oh, yes, it's very edgy

I love that you make your own dance costumes.

back before manic panic was a thing- Gatorade I think was a way people colored their hair!!

I only do Stairmaster intervals for cardio because at least I can get lost in an audio book.

sprint = unlimited data = Netflix on the stair master.

because I won't get on there w/o my phone. at all.

Hurumph.

I can't do any cardio :( I will literally get on a bike and hop off in 2 minutes. I basically never cut after my bulk. Just walking around like...whoa. Chunkster for life.
