would like to enter minerals and trace elements
I would like more of these: + Want more vitamins, minerals (such as magnesium, ...) and trace elements to track - in mg so you can set your own individual nutrient goals, but not in % + List salt and sodium separately (they are not the same and often there is only salt listet) + Being able to enter medication would also be…

More meals
Even paid members are only currently allowed a limited amount of meals. I would like to see the ability to add as many meals as you want without having to blend it with other meals. For example on an average day I eat 9 smaller meals plus take supplements, so I wish I could have 10 separate meals on the app.

Search Filters for Food Logging Database
I have been an intermittent member since 2017 and feel the biggest bugbear that drives me to fall off the wagon is the lack of ease with daily food logging. Firstly I’d like to say - this is not just MFP daily food logging is frustrating and time consuming. MFP has come along way since I first started using it, I…

Micronutrients
It would be great if the micronutrients were displayed along with the macronutrients. This would really help with managing deficiencies or excesses.

Show items in grams only (have the choice)
I've been tracking religiously for over 2 years now but the ONE thing that irritates the hell out of me is the MFP setting where most items show as ounces first - if they show as grams at all but that's another story. Does anyone know if I can default the search results to show items in grams only? I don't mean record it…

Magnesium tracking
Is there any way to add magnesium tracking as a nutrient option? In apple health, there is an entry position for it, but MyFitnessPal doesn’t populate.

Put salt instead of sodium
Because 99% of the foods have indicated the salt and not the sodium it should be useful to substitute it with the salt. A lot of foods have in the sodium the grams of the salt that is absolutely a mistake.

Save Favorite Foods
I love tracking my food intake with MyFitnessPal. But there should be a way to save favorite foods/condiments. I'm glad there's a section to save meal combinations, but I tend to not put in single items (say like, for me, I use Hienz Ketchup No Salt Added, due to me watching carbs and having diabetes). But there are so…

Recipe search
I have entered hundreds of recipes. But the Recipe Box is in the order I entered them, not alphabetical, so I can never find them. I need a search feature! The only way I can find them now is to go to the Food Diary, Add for one of the meals, and go the Recipes page (which thankfully is in alphabetical order), and go…

Rename Tech Support!
The MFP Tech Support board attracts a lot of comments from users (particularly new ones) thinking they are talking to the techies behind MFP. (See recent post from someone asking to unsubscribe.) how about renaming it as a user forum / user support? I know it lists the guidelines but obviously they’re not read much!

Intermittent fasting feature is too limited!
Joined premium when you added intermittent fasting feature, but I am sadly disappointed. Being limited to 24 hour manual fast is not useful. 36-48 hours is the norm for experienced fasters. Additionally, 18-6 is very popular but not an option to choose. Hope there are plans to improve the current version!

Share recipes with friends
My husband and I are both using the app. It would be great if I could share a recipe with him when I cook us a meal. Would make things so much easy for couples and friends doing this together.

18:6 Fasting Plan...please add.
I purchased the premium so I could track my fasts. I do a 18:6 plan (as do most people that I know who do IF). This is the plan my doctor suggested for pre-diabetes & weight loss. The myfitnesspal app does not include this plan. Could you please add? Thank you.

Weight Progress Chart
The Y axis on the graph that shows your weight progress over time is overly broad (0-250). As a result, daily progress is almost invisible and even a couple pounds a week of weight loss doesn't really show up. A tighter Y axis would help. For example, if you coded the Y axis to provide a range of, say, 50 pounds based on…

Food Scale Integration
Ive been reading about possible integration with Renpho on food scales to MFP. Please please please....then we should have an airdrop feature for sharing logs.

Logging water just got harder
I'm not a fan of the new water intake format. I have to click so many more buttons to log my water now. Also, when logging for certain meals, why does the format stay on the search instead of the meal you are trying to log? If I'm trying to reach a certain number of carbs for breakfast, for example, I have to keep clicking…

Can you add Caloric Density as a category for tracking and categorizing foods in the diary?
This might be a shot in the dark... It's nice that we have so many options to categorize our food tracking (macros, straight calories, heart healthy, or low carb) but I'm wondering if there is anything in the works to add caloric density to that list. Although calorie density may be less well known than other weight…

Recipe search
It'd be really helpful to be able to search my recipes. I don't seem to find a search bar where I can just put in what I'm looking for and it'd bring recipes up.

Add the option to disable popup notifications
I find the new feature of a popup box telling me I have a new notification to be very annoying. I am perfectly capable of seeing the highlighted number by the notification icon in the header - why do I need a popup as well? Please add the option of disabling this feature. Right now, the only way to disable it is to…

Recipe Directions
"My meals" allows you to add directions. It would be more useful to be able to add directions for "my recipes", especially for cook times and oven temperatures. Thank you.😃

Food plan that can be transferred to diary as food is consumed
I think the biggest shortcoming of MFP is the lack of the forward planning option. I really would like to be able to set up a food plan for a week or two. And then I could check off the items that I consumed and they would move into the daily diary. Planning and tracking is key for success and this would be very…

Acknowledge intermittent & extended fasting
Currently how MFP is configured, if we don't consume anything over a 24hr fast, when we submit our day we get a warning that we are not eating enough food. With all the reasons etc on why we are being bad. I really want to keep using the app to record my daily water intake. There are fasting protocols that call for only an…

Steps from a fitness tracker
I have a fitness tracker not listed as one that can be connected to mfp. I don't have room on my phone for more other apps and I don't want to have my phone on me for every step I take. I would like a way to manually enter the steps shown on my tracker and get credit for them. Thanks
