Calories burned after weight loss............
it seems to me, that as you lose weight, you should burn less calories per minute with activity. However, the exercise tracker on here does not reflect that. i put in that my weight was 19 pounds lighter just as a test, and according to MFP, I burned the exact amount of calories I would have burned 19 pounds heavier. Not…

The author says this about exercise & losing weight: "The basic problem is that while it's true that exercise burns calories and that you must burn calories to lose weight, exercise has another effect: it can stimulate hunger. That causes us to eat more, which in turn…

All the programs out seem to be for young, fit, or slightly overweight. I was doing very well and let it pretty much go. I want to feel good again and still have time and energy to take care of…

Machine or MFP
When I run on the eliptical I choose the 300 calorie workout and it takes me 32 minutes to do that. When I record it on MFP it says I burnt 553 calories..Is the difference because MFP takes my weight into account. Or Why is it different if thats not the reason?????

Running with asthma
Hey everyone! I really want to start running but I'm finding that my asthma really holds me back. Working out a pint short
Anyone had any bad experiences with working out after giving blood? Ran 3.5 miles today after giving blood yesterday. I've been drinking craptons of water but I got a wicked headache and feel a bit lethargic. I probably just need to drink more and relax for the day or maybe skip the 3.5 mile run for a couple days.

Joint lubrication exercise
Greetings everyone! I'm a big fan of my kettlebell, I adore the thing. Plus there is something inherently bad@$$ about swinging around a big metal ball. Anyways, I recently had it reccomended to me that I explore joint lubrication exercises to get the most out of my workouts, specifically alongside the kettlebell. Now, I…

Legs Hurting on Long Runs
I just started running this year and am going to attempt a full marathon in December. My problem is on my long runs (runs over 10 miles) my legs start to hurt. Around mile 11 or 12 my legs just start to ache. I think they are cramping but it's the whole leg not just the calf or hamstring, etc... and it's not like a charlie…
