On average how many steps is one mile? My good pedometer broke. My cheapy pedometer only gives me the number of steps and I just walked 2587. Thanks

my shins hurt
Over the last 3 days I've noticed that when I run my shin area and the inside of my calfs hurt, not enough to stop me running but they are uncomfortable. :ohwell: :frown: I stretch before I start but that doesnt help. It tends to to calm down a little after my first lap.

Recovering Heart Rate?
I've been told that you heart rate recovery is the best way to gauge your cardiovascular fitness. So mine was 152 at the end of my workout, and then down to 84 a minute later.
