scarsdale
I've started Scarsdale today. I know it isn't a well-balanced diet, but if I don't see immediate results, I feel discouraged.. Just to begin .. When it is over I'll go on a healthier diet.

Exporting "Reports"
Is there any way to get the data from the "Reports" tab in spreadsheet/csv format? The graphs are pretty and all, but I'd like to crunch some numbers over the last 4 weeks. My weekly weight loss numbers went from 3 lbs to 2lbs to 1lb - looking to do some research and I hate to have to type in all that data again by hand.

Need help setting levels for calorie goals and macros
I recently started back on MFP to track my calories. I have gastropareseis (delayed stomach emptying) and often I am not hungry. I am consuming around 1200 calories a day. I have a desk job and don't exercise often because of joint inflammation and lack of time. My joints however feel better when I move. Before starting to…

By jove I think I've got it.
I joined mfp years ago. I'd log for a few days and then get embarrassed by a day and wouldn't log it. My profile was private so why….well because I'd embarrass myself. (Yes…much logic missing there…!) Who was I cheating but me? I've never been overweight but have a very small frame so have spent times chunkier than what…

eating: everybody is different.
There is no right or wrong way . 1. Some people would rather eat clean for like ever..that means salad & tuna. 2.some people choose not to eat/drink whatever they want as long as they meet the calorie requirements. That means Hot Cheetos and hamburgers. Neither way is wrong. everyone is different. Everyone has different…

Start off the RIGHT way!!!
Don't kill yourself. Coming out of the gate wide open, will quickly lead to burnout, disinterest and failure. Read this "book report" and see if the book fits you! I'm a happy camper again. Cheers! Lee http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/LeeDahlen38/view/-impossible-by-bryan-ganey-a-book-report-629948

Food lover or mindless eater?
I recently discovered I don't have a huge love of food like I thought but I'm a mindless and emotional eater. I could eat veggies and healthy food all day but if I'm bored stressed at all look out! I wish I noticed this about 50 pounds ago. Any one else have any recent revelations?

Food as a crutch: replacing bad habits with good ones
I'm sure I'm not the only person here who has used food as a crutch-- something to turn to when stressed, sad, bored, and even as a reward for hard work. Knowing that physiology is a complicated matter and that in some instances, processed carbs and junk food have a somewhat addictive aspect when acting on the brain, how…

'Intuitive Eating' drop out - really struggling!
Hi everyone, I've been a member of MFP for a while, though I've yet to have any long runs of unbroken recording. As the title of this post suggests, for a while I dabbled with the tenets of intuitive eating (you know the drill, eat when hungry, eat what you want, stop when full) - I listened intently to all the different…

Let's do this Life Journey together
Hi all! I am not new to MFP. I started my journey a little over a year ago. When I first started I was doing great! I even quit smoking (still am smoke free). Then I did some 5k mud challenges and ended up reinjuring my knee. What should have taken me out of commission for a few weeks.......ended up being close to three…

To chart or Not to chart?
I remember back in the day seeing people bring a notebook to the gym to chart progress. I do not have an Ipad, smartfone, or any new electronics except an ancient Ipod classic that I purchased second hand in Thailand in 2012; (Of course this laptop that I am using now) Does anyone here chart? If so, when and where do you…

Have tried many diets over the last 2 years but nothing sticks. I've always been curvy and I know I'll never be a stick. How can I lose weight, maintain my curves, and tone? Calorie Deficit
Hi there I'm new to this, its my 'Day 3' and I have 40 lbs to lose and MFP has put my calories at 1200 calories per day. I have been reading on a lot of the forums that 'calorie deficit' will make you lose weight quicker but then have also then read you MUST eat 1200 calls a day. Would eating 1000 calls mean I lose the…

St. Patty's Day Challenge!
As I've been on this journey, I've discovered that setting small targets for myself has really helped! Currently, I'm moderating a Valentine's Day Challenge. Once that ends, I'd love to start a St. Patty's Day Challenge. (Notice the holiday theme! ) Set your individual goal, log it into the spreadsheet each week…

Quick question!
So I am not exactly new to my fitness pal, but I have a question. So I have lost weight and have been doing well. As of now, I have lost 25 pounds and have taken the recommendations of decreasing my calorie goals. It is now at 1380. I don't really like where this is heading. It has dropped between 70-90 calories each time.…
