When I set my monthly targets I thought I was going for too much and I would fall flat on my face, but have exceeded several.

I didn't want to run just 1km or 1 mile, so have only worked out my fastest split which was in itself not easy given the terrain is almost all up/down hill. No flats to get a true speed.

    Goals:
    1. Run 100km in total................... :) ................108km
    2. Increase distance to 8km........ :) ..................12km
    3. Run/walk Interval of 35/1min..... .........40mins
    4. Run for 1hr................................ :) .................1hr 42min
    5. Run 7km in 54min.................... :) .................. 53.04min
    6. Take part in a fun run............... STILL CHICKEN!
    7. New PB for 5km (37.56)............. ?...... 37.32min
    8. Establish PB for, 1km, 1mile...... :) ............... Worked out the fastest within my runs

    2. 2/11 8km 62.59min. 20.30/1
    3. 4/11. 8km. 72.43min. 22/1
    4. 6/11. 8km. 63.20min 23.30/1
    5. 9/11 8km. 65.19min. 25/1
    6. 11/11. 8km. 64.10min. 26.30/1
    7. 13/11. 5km. 39.16min 28/1
    8. 15/11. 10km. 81.09min. 30/1
    9. 17/11. 5km. 38.08min. No interval
    10. 18/11. 5km. 40.10min. No interval
    11. 21/11 5km. 37.32min. No interval. New PB
    12. 23/11. 11km 96.26min. 35/1
    13. 25/11. 5km. 41.09min No interval
    14. 26/11. 5km. 41.21min. Walked last 500m
    15. 28/11. 5km. 39.36min No interval

@Kindeo- Running with the flu, now that's determination. Glad you reached your goal!
@Shanaber- During the storm I ran just off the roads edge in the snow. It was only about 6-8" deep at that point and the snow was thick heavy snowman making snow so it compacted well underfoot. I even saw a fox dashing by. Thursday & Friday the snowplows had been out so I ran on the road with no trouble. I just zigzagged across the road to go around downed trees & lines. Remember I'm in the country with very little traffic & we're accustomed to sharing the road with pedestrians, bicycles & horses. Once more people have packed down the trails I'll go back to running there, but I hate to be the first person through fresh snow when I don't know what's under it to trip me.
@Remus42- Not just 12hour shifts, you're a nurse! You deserve a medal, a standing ovation & a huge increase in pay. I greatly admire the combination of knowledge & compassion a person needs to choose a career in nursing. Thank you for going to work each day.

Well, at least I made the revised goal and am ending the month somewhat back on track.

Fell 8 miles short as I skipped my Saturday 8 miler due to some stomach unhappiness (not sure if it was the pad thai, or the gator tail at the FSU/Florida game). Still, happy to clear the 150 mile mark for the month regardless. Given my 18 miler tonight was at the same pace as my May marathon, but at a 20 BPM slower heart rate, I'm happy to end the month on a high note.

11/1 - 6 miles (first time I tried some hashing)
    11/2 - 15 miles
    11/4 - 4 miles
    11/5 - 5 miles
    11/6 - 4 miles
    11/9 - 6.1 miles (olympic triathlon @ 8:30 pace)
    11/11 - 4 miles
    11/12 - 8 miles
    11/13 - 4 miles
    11/16 - 13.1 miles (race @ 8:09 pace) + 2 miles (ran back to the hotel)
    11/18 - 5 miles
    11/19 - 8 miles
    11/20 - 5 miles
    11/22 - 8 miles
    11/23 - 18 miles
    11/25 - 4 miles
    11/26 - 8 miles
    11/27 - 3.1 miles (5k turkey trot @ 7:08 pace) + 4 miles (evening run)
    11/30 - 18 miles

    Total: 152 miles
    Goal: 160 miles

I didn't quite make it, BUT I came close. I had a bout with the stomach virus that kept me down for three days. Otherwise I think I would have made it. I'm in for 50 in December.
