I'm ashamed. I failed miserably. LOL

I topped out at an estimated 2627. I blame that entirely on the 3-hour midday nap I took. Yep, that's what I'm going with.

you and I- we may need to start eating at midnight on the 24th of December just to make sure we make it for Christmas.

OR- do our peanut butter challenge the day of Christmas!!!!
Oh, and I also won $5 from my husband who was CONVINCED I couldn't do it. He should know better than to doubt me...especially when food is the challenge.
WINNER WINNER TURKEY DINNER!!! I like it.
So update time. A 6000 calorie day and three 4000 calorie days = I'm up 6 lbs. I'm banking on Friday to be back to normal or even down 8.
    sniff sniff

    you make me proud!!!!

Ok I feel I redeemed myself a little bit. We did Thanksgiving Part 2 with my family on Saturday. My plate of food was roughly 1,100 calories of delicious protein and carbs - and I tried my niece's brussel sprouts only because they were skewered with bacon - but I just couldn't choke them down...

So that still wasn't that many calories, and that didn't include beer and wine. However my family does a "throwdown" when we get together, which seems ludicrous at Thanksgiving in light of all the other food but... this year it was a Pumpkin Challenge. Here are the entries:

Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake Bars with Salted Caramel Glaze (my entry)

Pumpkin Spice Cake Balls with Cream Cheese Icing

    Pumpkin Spice Chex Mix

    Pumpkin Fluff Cake

The Healthy Entry: Pumpkin/Cranberry/Spinach Smoothie Base with OJ and Apple Cider

The Savory Entry: Pumpkin Chicken Enchiladas (also the ultimate winner!)

So this second round, plus wine and beer, was also about 1,100 cals. Total for Saturday, 2200. Combined with the 1,800 on Thursday puts me at just about 4,000 for the two days of celebrating - not including the other family weekend events like movies with popcorn, Sunday brunch, etc.

I wasn't in on this originally but I will say, when it comes to T-day gainz, shopping will steal them. I skipped the second and third dinner of the day to go pre black Friday shopping at HHgregg. Spent 8 hours there and was hungry, hungry, on freakin' T-Day. WTF...

Ok... how do you lose 14 pounds in a week?

I only gained one from my 3000 and 4600 calories days, but I had 900 'banked'.
