<--- I eat lots of high GI foods. Competitive bodybuilders eat lots of bananas. Blood sugar spikes aren't a bad thing for most people. They're actually really good for muscle repair.0 -

So, are you saying that eaten within a calorie deficit, a high GI food will cause issues with losing weight?
What issues are these?
Any chance you can evidence this comment, in reference to eating high GI foods within a calorie deficit?

High GI foods raise insulin levels, but if you are on a caloric deficit you will still lose weight.0 -

Is it mostly skin that you are worried about, or fat? For loose skin, hydration, exfoliation, daily lotion with elastin, clean eating, and time What pp said, stay away from sugar but also from loading up on carbs. I stay around 80g of carbs a day and don't eat processed foods. Lower amounts of carbs work for me, but you may need to stay in the 100's to lose a small to moderate amount of weight.

LOL ..protein causes insulin spikes too is that bad for losing weight?????

And what is wrong, in a non-diabetic adult consuming a calorie maintenance or deficit dietary intake, in raising insulin levels to the level consuming a high GI food source would do?
