Regularly under goal, stalled, now put on 1lb?

Hi everyone.
I've been logging in for 49 days with a daily calorie goal of 1200. Have lost 13lbs, av.2lbs per week so far.
But..this last week I've stalled and this morning have put on 1lb.
I usually consume c.1000kcal daily and walk 5-7 miles burning between 500-800 kcal. This walking calorie figure is synced from mapmywalk. I don't enter or record run of the mill exercise like housework etc etc. Which I presume burns more.
I usually show a net figure of significantly below calorie goal on at least 5 days a week. And my weekly 'under goal' figure is 2500-7000.
What am I doing wrong? Any help gratefully received.
Yours, despondently...xx

You're not eating enough and you're not patient enough
Weight loss isn't linear ...exercise, sodium and hormones affect the weight on the scale. You're probably due on
Your exercise calories should be cut in half as they are overestimated - you should weigh and log all food and ensure your rate of weight loss goal is appropriate for the amount you have to lose
You shouldn't be under your MFP goal ...you should be close to it ...you are basically following a very low calorie diet which is unhealthy

Read the op in this http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10084670/it-is-unlikely-that-you-will-lose-weight-consistently-i-e-weight-loss-is-not-linear#latest
But most importantly do not aim to net fewer than 1200 calories per day when averaged across the week0 -
Thanks rabbitjb.
Lol not due on. Old lady with those bits missing.
I do weigh and log all intake religiously. OCD as well as old!
Impatient - yes, hands up to that. It's all been going so well, I feel fit and active and can't understand the change.
If mapmywalk is overestimating the calories I'm burning then maybe I need another, more accurate, app? This would mean though that I am not as far under my goal as would appear.
I'll digest the info on the link you've provided and stick with it.
Thks.

I don't know your stats but I'm 5'8, 164lbs and a 5 mile walk gives me 350-450 calories depending on intensity ...measured by my fitbit0

I'm 5'6 / 175lbs and a 6.21 mile walk yesterday worked out at 781 calories according to MMW. I'm lugging quite a bit around the block at a pace of c.18 min per mile/3.25mph.0

There will be weeks where you will not lose and sometimes you will even gain due to water retention. This can even go over several weeks. This may be discouraging but you get past it as long as you continue to create a deficit.
Re; exercise calories probably the only way to get them pretty close to accurate is via a HRM (and this is only relevant for steady state cardio). Otherwise take them with a grain of salt.0 -

I think that's probably around double the actual calories you'd have burnt ...just cut it in half and eat those and if you find yourself losing weight at a greater rate than expected eat more
But the core takeout to me from this thread is your calories are too low for healthy sustainable weight loss...please fix that0 -

I've used MapMyFitness, and there's been times my app has glitched, and will log each step as part of a mile, and I'll have a 100+ cal burn and hit a mile walked in just a few minutes of walking. Make sure your information is correct, and if the calories and distance walked aren't looking right, close out the app and reopen it.
Also, their calorie burns are overestimated like MFP, so be mindful of that. Also, with 28lbs to lose, your goal should be around 1lb/week loss. 1,200 seems like a pretty low calorie goal. You can probably afford to eat more and still be in a deficit; I eat 1,500 and lose consistently. Echoing the above as well; weight loss isn't linear, so don't get discouraged.0 -
Thanks Guys.
Seems like I've putting too much trust in the mmw app.
This does mean that I'm not as far under goal as thought which is probably for the good though.
I'll be patient and carry on as have no choice - weight has to go....0 -

Rabbit is correct. What overestimating calories burned basically means is that you are eating more than you realize. Also, the one pound could be natural weight fluctuation.
I would either cut those mapmywalk calories in half or get a heart rate monitor. I love my heart rate monitor and my results show it as more accurate than any other source I have tried.0
