To directly answer your question YES
On 31st Dec 2014 I weighed 187.4lbs, yesterday I weighed 172.0 lbs
I stopped all the booze for Dry January and have continued this into Feb to date
A by product was feeling better & not grazing in the fridge after a few pints

Wine also gives me the munchies, so its not just the calories in the wine, but the calories in the cheese and crisps and popcorn.....0

I have sworn off all alcohol until I'm at my goal weight. My liver needs to be helping my body to get into shape, not worrying about filtering out the alcohol. So far it seems to be working well. I sleep far better and have more energy because of it. While I have moments when I feel like downing a pint if vodka, I remember why I stopped. They don't call it a lifestyle change for no reason.0
