My NSV is that every time I look in the mirror I am happy with what I see....10

I love the feeling that I'm in control of food now, instead of food controlling me. Before low carbing it, I was always thinking about food, thinking about my next meal, overeating in case I had to go too long between meals, sneaking food because I was embarrassed, etc. It's amazing how free I feel now. I can actually leave food on my plate now. I can go hours and hours without thinking about food. I haven't had any binge eating urges since I started on March 9th, and THAT is a miracle. I use to binge every couple of weeks. I feel alive and free and in control and it's wonderful.10

NSV today that made me feel amazing! Went to church tonight with the kids and my cousin was there, I haven't seen her since I started Keto, she told me I looked skinny! Then said she wished she had my willpower and would love to try Keto but she loves bread too much HAHA Now I'm going to be showing her how to make Keto bread and see if she likes it6

Most recent NSV: recomp progress. After a month of reverse dieting to find my new maintenance, post hellcut, I'm actually heavier, but lifts are all up, and feeling one hell of a lot better.

After completing my couch to 5k program the other day I'm onto a 10k trainer app. Did 3.9 miles today, plus another 2/3rds of a mile in warmup and cooldown. I did the last mile of my run at a 10min/mi pace. 4 weeks from now I'm going to have to do 6.42 miles at a sub-10 min. pace, so I figure I have to start pushing now.
I have two consecutive off days tomorrow and Friday, I think I'm gonna go see if I can run an 8 minute mile on Friday. I think I can. When I was in high school, even running every day in wrestling practice, I never got sub-8 minutes. Now, at 41 years old, I'm pretty certain I can do it.
*edit to bold the victory part of all that mess9 -

My H hasgone to see his sister, who is currently unwell. While she was preparing to go to a clinical appointment, my H took a walk down the street, and chanced by a Charity shop. In he went. And bought a pair of designer jeans for a pittance, but more importantly, they were 3 sizes smaller than any other trousers he currently owns, and they fitted perfectly. I'm so proud of him, guys, I can't tell you; I never thought I'd see this day....19

This morning I did another 20km ride on the (currently indoor) bicycle, then followed that up with a 2.8km walk outside through the park and along the bike paths.
Most of all though -- I feel fantastic.
Don't remember the last time I could say that without being ironic or sarcastic.10 -
The seats at church are a little more comfortable today. They're theater seats, rather than pews.8

I wore my "some day I'll fit into those again" jeans yesterday...and they fit comfortably...with no muffin top while standing at all. These were my mother's Calvin Klein's. Size 12. I know that's not small, but seeing as how I was stretching out size 18's six months ago, this is huge.
I called my mom and cried.
I'm not even close to done yet, but this is something I just can't even grasp yet...I feel like it wasn't real.18 -
Yesterday - Nothing sweet, no chocolate, no stevia . . . on a SUNDAY. First day down, 29 to go. . .10

When you make it 30 days, you will be amazed at how much better everything tastes. I remember how strange it was when I realized celery is actually sweet. When you aren't bombarding your taste buds with things that have been artificially sweetened, real food really tastes so much better.6 -
Someone in the gym today said, "Hi Skinny". Had to look around to see who he was talking to and then realized it was me11
