Wife was behind on washing cloths so I had no clean jeans. Went digging deep in the closent and found some jeans from 2013 when I was "FIT." .....and they fit.....snug but hey skinny jeans are in right!10

I was just told by a coworker she can tell I have a lot more energy. No more after lunch slump!13

I can buy a donut for my son without ordering one for myself. And when he only eats half of it, I just throw the other half away. I can go to an Italian restaurant and not order pasta.14

NSV: I haven't had real pinky toe nails for a LONG time, not real ones, they were really thin and split. I had also kind of ruined a couple of toenails backpacking and cycling. Since I've adopted this WOE and started adding collagen to my morning coffee, I have regrown those toenails. The damaged toenails are back to normal. One pinky toenail is perfect and the other one is growing in normal. My weight loss has been slow and I hear everyone talking about "your body is healing, be patient". I guess its true. Now, I wonder what else has fixed itself that I can't see.12

There was triple chocolate cake in the office today. I actually cut piece and brought it into the office to smash. When I thought about what I was about to do and how I would have to start all over I threw the cake in the garbage with out having any. Total NSV for me.15

My biggest one is appetite suppression. I’m a foodie if you can’t tell. When I eat carbs I can literally eat an entire bag of chips my myself and then think, “I could go for a Ding Dong”. Why not, right? My weight stayed the same regardless of what I ate. I didn’t lose but I didn’t gain.
Only at 20 carbs a day do I lose. And I find it incredibly hard to get up to 1,000 calories a day like MFP wants you to do in order to log your day. I make two eggs with cheese - I can only finish 1 and a half. I make four ham roll ups, after three, I’m like, “Nah, I’m done.”
The appetite control is amazing. I know it’s all based on some fancy hormone science my brainy daughter keeps trying to explain to me, but I don’t care about that. I just lost another pound today.9 -

The "trick" here is to add something bogus to get you over the limit. Enter the day and then delete the bogus entry. It adjusts the day, and it stays logged.

No need for all that unless you want to "announce" on your feed that you have completed your diary. Your diary stays intact whether you "complete" it or not. The only thing "completion" does is give you the (bogus) 5 week projection and announce to your newsfeed. BUT you can even un-check that box in settings so diary completion no longer goes to your feed.

But I like seeing the prediction... My wife will ask me what it said. I always reply "17 pounds."4 -

I just like the completion. I found an entry actually called “fake food” so I use that. It has no carbs/pro/fat and no nutrition but has “100 calories per cup”. It works perfectly. Yesterday I ate three cups of it! 😂8 -
I made my first fat head pizza dough and it was better than expected! i had a whole mini pizza with only 6 net carbs! This is exciting.7

I just crossed my legs!! I haven't been able to do that for years! The kicker was I did it mindlessly and didn't even realize it until I looked up!13

Went to put on a shirt, sighed, it fit but it was a bit tight. Took it off and noticed it as an XL. It fit snugly quite well. I was worried I’d gained enough to be snug in a XXL again.
That was yesterday. Today I’m fitting well in another XL. This time last year I was filling out a 4XL and 3XL were no longer fitting right.

I hate that "in 5 weeks thing". I dont log my food in MFP anymore, I use a more keto friendly app...but I still here for the community.2 -

Same here. When I log it is on Cronometer which I think is EXCELLENT. I also like a real basic one, "Stupid Simple Macros" and/or "Stupid Simple Keto". The only thing I found that is incredibly incorrect on SSM is their corn. I'm sure there are others that are really off/incorrect but I've not seen them.3 -
my NSVs : In Jan 2019 I was wearing size 20 jeans. They were baggy, but I didn't need a belt to keep them up. Today I am wearing size 14. I wore one of my older bras over the weekend and it was so loose I could have shoved some gym socks in there
The scale is still frustrating me, but these NSVs keep me going!13 -
I'm wearing an old dress of mine that I recently took in, removing about 4" off the waist/hips...and may I say, I look amazing!!!12
-
I'm wearing short-shorts and I'm not getting thigh rub!6

My NSV, lol, I don't own a scale... So all my victories are off scale.
Dropped over 3 pants sizes, over 12 inches off stomach. Progress pictures show significant body changes.
Hormones have drastically changed. Including, cysts that I've had for over 15 years are gone. IBS (bloat and pain) are gone.
I am a lifer!!!
I wanted to post progress pictures in group, but I never see anyone else do it, so I posted in general forums-success stories.4 -
@Emmapatterson1729 people do post pics here in fact I've got some buried in a thread somewhere from my first loss. It's just not as prevalent. Lol3
