i am about 2 stone over ideal weight! Am going to gym at least 3 days a week and doing hour of cardio each time plus some ab crunches. What are the best excercises in gym for losing stumoch weight? And any ideas as to how to get more discipline in terms of calorie consumption?

You can't spot reduce. Eat at a deficit to lose overall fat. Use the MFP tool as was intended and log consistently and accurately, eventually it becomes a habit.0
