I have been preparing my dinners for the week. After work I find myself to be less likely to want to cook something healthy so I take Sunday evening to prep everything.

I buy healthy food and cook it. Not much of a strategy.0

I plan ahead and buy healthy food. I also don't look at other people plates during meals and compare mine. It's pointless. I'm making the better decision for my body.0

So now that I am in a better mood, I thought I'd give a less flippant response (as everyone on the lower level can attest to, I had a BAD DAY). I'm currently following a low histamine / low benzoate diet to see if that helps my mysterious health issues. It's a real challenge, because I can only eat food that is very fresh. Nothing aged, pasteurized, fermented, packaged, or processed, no spices, and no leftovers. I buy my meat frozen and defrost what I am going to eat that night in the microwave before cooking it, which is easy enough. I can buy a few days' worth of fresh veggies, but use frozen the rest of the week. I guess it's not necessarily challenging, it's just very boring.0

We are changing how we buy our groceries now that our son has gone to college. We switching to more diet soda and flavored waters. But I need to get back to being more motivated once I am back home.0
