I'm kind of disappointed in all of you for not keeping this bumped for my convenience.

I think you just killed it.

If by "killed it," you mean WON THE INTERNET, yes. Yes, I did.

If you are referring to this thread, NO. It is not dead! It is only MOSTLY dead. It shall be resurrected tomorrow, I just know it.

@kruggeri..It won't let me quote you, but that is hilarious. I didn't even notice what the dog was carrying at first.

Someone in this thread had a dad who, while driving to church one day on or around Easter, commented "There goes Peter Cottontail . . ." (I am too lazy to look back for the quote).

Good idea! I like it! I made my husband an adult Easter basket this year. He's going to love it! :)

Happy Easter everyone! I'm hoping the OP comes back and tells us how her ruse worked, did she eat the eggs? Did the kids figure this ploy out? I need to know!

    Also just wanted to say,

I wonder if op had any eggs today....

Or if her kids placed a GPS transmitter on all their hardboiled eggs and figured out that they are in the neighbor's garbage.

Or, maybe OP hid them in her car....if so, I do genuinely hope for her sake that she doesn't forget where they are. That could get very, very ugly if the sun ever decides to come back to the Northeast.

    Happy Easter!

My kids woke me freaking out with joy over their baskets. My husband practically did the same.

I am saving my white chocolate bunny for after dinner!

I had a delicious veggie strata for breakfast, a ton of Cadbury mini eggs for dessert, and am currently whipping up both some deviled eggs (no MMA career for me!), homemade bread, rack of lamb, and some wonderful fresh kielbasa that our local butcher makes in house.

    YESSSSSSS.

Well, my aspirations to be an MMA fighter are definitely out the window. I've eaten a ton of eggs... normal hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and cadbury eggs. I'm totally screwed.

I did not eat any eggs today. (Reese's eggs don't count, right?)
