smashing mirrors... I have on soooo many occasions accidentally smashed mirrors! ( or my face made them break, haven't worked that out yet :joy: ) but 12 years bad luck... so I will no doubt have bad luck for as long as I live lol.

black cats are meant to be good omens too! lol the amount of times a black cat has crossed my path and I've had some amazingly good things happen afterwards ( within a day ) so now whenever a black cat crosses my path I buy a scratch card and always win lol. however if a white cat crosses my path..... 0_o *cross symbol on fingers* run for your life! :scream::joy:

it was believed that if a black cat lived in the house, the young lady would have plenty of suitors! << true lol think I need a black cat again!

Friday the 13th!!! if I step out of my door on that day... something always happens... so I try hard to avoid it.. but most of the time I have no option lol.

you are most likely to catch the sight of something out of the ordinary in the mirror! ( no not your face! ) but spirits demons etc. the longest I look at a mirror is 10 minutes in the morning getting ready ... lol.

my great grandmother and her ancestors and so many people of that time and era always believed you should never wash your hair when you are menstruating because you will get ill.... I think that was when you had to actually be in the bath and wash your hair with soap! etc... as it can get to your uterus and cause a deadly infection.... no idea tbh :joy:

also when a candle flickers then turns blue it means there is a spirit near... has happened a few times for me :/ I have seen a lot of paranormal things... even though I follow science and psychology and try to figure out how to explain these phenomenons.... there is no answer to some of them.

I hope not because I've broken several mirrors and walk under my ladder almost daily! :grimace:

When you move from one house to another one, leave the old broom at the old house. (My grandmother said it was bad luck to take the old broom with you as it sweeps up all your troubles!)
