Is not knowing who Steve Miller is kinda like me not knowing who Django Reinhardt was until I was twenty-something? Or me not knowing who Robert Johnson was? And Steve Miller wasn't isn't really that famous in comparison, was is he?

If I were wouldn't I have listened to my grandfather's band since he was a bandleader? Since i apparently have his old sheet music should I just make my own band?
