Aren't you always doing something, if you're alive?
Don't we all want to be doing something for as long as we can? :D

    Isn't doing nothing boring?

    Is meditation boring?
But then, meditation isn't really doing nothing, is it?

Wouldn't I find it boring? Might I not be the meditation type?

Are you the pickleball type? Will I be disappointed when I try it for the first time tomorrow morning?

Would you believe any sport involving a ball, unless golf, is not for me?

Could you call me more of the putt-putt type? Did you win the pickleball game this morning?

I guess I can imagine I won, can't I, at least until an hour from now when I play? :D

Would you mind doing positive affirmations and visualize yourself winning the game, and then let us know if that stuff really works?

So do you think by visualizing a win and still losing will make us accept losing better?

Would you believe, after first being in the wrong place at the wrong time, due to bad information, I finally got to the right place?
And after all that, would you believe I only "dinked" the ball with the group organizer for a while, learning the basics, and left with a racket and ball he loaned me so I can practice against a wall?

how is pickleball played? is it a team sport?
  • Alinouveau2Alinouveau2 Member Posts: 1,141 Member Member Posts: 1,141 Member
It's it played on a tennis court but with squash racquets?

What do you call a game where you: take a plastic ball like a wiffle ball but with round holes instead of oblong holes, and more of them, and make it the size of a regulation baseball; take a solid paddle like a ping pong paddle but closer to the size of a racketball racket; take a court with a net, like a tennis court but smaller; make rules similar to tennis and ping pong; and play singles or doubles games where you play only to 11 points, leading by two?

Would you rather watch rugby than football?
