I look at it this way, short time frame= short results. If you have family in the military, ask them what they ate and how they trained and follow that plan instead of looking at this fad diet.
If you are looking to cut back on coffee, I suggest slowly weaning yourself off to avoid getting caffeine withdrawal headaches.

The "military diet" will get you nowhere. Best just to put all of your info in MFP and eat the number of calories that they give you.0 -

Tracking food is an important key.
Eating to your calorie goal is very important.
Exercising keeps you healthy.
Of course, "the military diet" has nothing to do with the military. That's just a name applied to it at this time by those who want to market it. And, fad diets won't help you drop weight over time in a healthy, sustainable way. That said, my opinion is that there is little wrong with doing such a thing as the military diet if it helps you kick start your weight loss, or gets you past a plateau.0
