Is anyone else having trouble using myfitnesspal on an apple computer. Mine keeps shutting down the program. Is there a fix?

Make sure your browser is updated, try a different browser, clear the cache/history, repair permissions.0

I use chrome to acess myfitnesspal on my mac and it's fine for me. I have the latest software etc so maybe try updating to the most recent operating system if you haven't already?

I have a Mac and use Safari. No problems here

If you're on a Mac, Safari is the best browser. MFP is sometimes persnickety and slow.0

Windows 7 and Chrome. Sometimes so many ads or something on the site is running in the background that I can see on a bar at the bottom that pops up it slows so I just log off.0

Another thing to consider is pop ups/ads etc. I have the Adblock extension for Chrome so there are no pop ups/ ads etc slowing things down, maybe try installing the Adblock extension if nothing else works?
