    Oops. Slight correction.

I saw a notable death this last week, Mike Mitchell. Movies leading to a band/song.

    Band:The Secret Service + Band:The Golden Circle / Comedian Anderson * 2 = [band/song]

That is the correct song. The clues to the band are like Star Wars: A New Hope and Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi. They were all Star Wars. Both The Secret Service and The Golden Circle were movies in this series. The name isn't quite right, but since there are two of them you could say man + man = men.

Pretty sure this band did the definitive version.

    Maybe that will help someone?

:D I guess they didn't do any country, but yes The Bee Gees. At least that's what I came up with.

They did write Islands In The Stream which was a big hit for Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton.

I just read this song writer/producer died.

Total Eclipse Of The Heart + Making Love Out Of Nothing At All + I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That) + Read 'Em And Weep + Rock And Rock Dreams Come Through = [song writer]

Go ahead and name the recording artist for each song of you like too.

    Bonnie Tyler/Air Supply/Meatloaf/Barry Manilow /Jim Steinman.

Song writer is Jim Steinman. I read that he was Meatloaf's best friend and he is devastated by his death. Was a very talented man.
