I am glad you're taking the advice on board.
Let me give you some more: these gimmicks, fads and scams DON'T WORK. There's no such thing as "slim rice" or "weight loss tea" or any magic pill. None of these things will do more for you than you could do yourself AND a lot of them tend to be dangerous in the long run.
A calorie deficit is all you need. It's free, it doesn't come with flashy packaging, and provided it's done sensibly, it's much better for you.
the rice, noodles, etc. the OP was talking about are legitimate food products which are just fiber and contain little to no calories. They taste awful, but hey, personal preference. I have a friend who prefers the miracle noodles in stir frys its... strange.0
