Happy POST Thanksgiving Day!
How did you do?? Nenplenseh and I, ended up hanging out with some youth from foster care and group homes at Platinum Sports yesterday--serving and listening to their story. It was such an INCREDIBLE experience! I have to agree with Nenplenseh--it was one of my best Thanksgivings in L.A. so far!
I was so focused on the youth, the food was no longer a huge focus on me. My portion size--was larger than normal lunch size; but I didn't make it back for seconds and I didn't take any home for left overs. The time with those children was so filling it really shed light on how much I have to be thankful for...seriously!
As we come towards the end of week 3, I was researching healthy food options that all of us are mostly doing already. This is just to affirm you're doing it right if you can check off what's listed!
