I remember every Easter and my skirt would not fit, would not go around me. I ate ate all winter. I want that slim feel this Easter, had my weight off 2.5 years.
I’m still working on a weight starting with 92, but I am also working on fitting into two pairs of jeans - it’s freezing here and it would be nice to wear thicker jeans rather than thin leggings!
Haha! As of this morning I’m 92.6 and one of the pairs of jeans fit. I’m thrilled. A weight below 91kgs would be 10% of my weight lost, so that and fitting into my blue jeans is my next goal 😊☺️😊
1) fit into these suede shorts I made last summer. They’re awesome... they just don’t zip.
2) fit into all these size 16 vintage sewing patterns I own. I’m a vintage 18 (38 bust, 30 waist) but most of my collection is 14/16s (easier to find than larger sizes). I can resize patterns, but it’s such a hassle and I’m lazy.
I want to lose the weight that I recently gained over the past couple of months. I was down to 258 (from 330) and then holidays and stress/depression hit pretty hard so I got up to 274. I am down to 265 as of this morning - only 7 more pounds!
Once I'm there, I can continue to strive to reach a new "lowest weight" every week!
I love mini goats!!! ahahahaah I just cracked under 270 for the first time in a LONG time! 260 is next.!!! Weeeeeeee!!!
First, CONGRATULATIONS!
Second, I have to love typos/auto correct flubs - I was about to reply "I love mini goats too!" then I realized what you actually meant. Still, imagining 270 of them was pretty amusing. EXTREME goat yoga.
My mini goal is still getting under 160 which is 1.5 pounds away. At that point I'll actually match the weight on my driver's license. LOL, I was SO in denial when I told them that weight - I don't think I've been 160 since I was 14 or so.
New goal...bought a cute pair of denim jeans and they are a small size 9...can't do them up!!! Goal...to fit in these and wear them proudly! I've learned that I would much rather wear a small size 9 and weigh 160lbs vs weighing 134lbs and wearing a size 11! Measurements are what counts!!
i had a mini goal to lose 200 lbs by today. 22 months ago today i started my weight loss. as of today i have lost 200.4 lbs. time to pop the cork on the cider and then think up another one. congrats everyone who has hit their mini goals.
My boyfriend bought me a beautiful silk nightdress - that I can't fit into yet. My goal is to do so by his birthday in March or, failing that, mine in June.
Woohoo! Mission accomplished - took a few days longer than I'd hoped, but I weighed in at 229.8 this morning. Next mini-goal up: 225 & out of "morbidly obese" BMI.
I'm half way to my mini-goal! Weighed in at 227.2 this morning. So excited! I also realized that when I hit 225, not only will I be <40 BMI, but I will also have lost 10% of my starting weight (since 11/23/2020).
I dropped below 225 today! BMI is now severely obese instead of morbidly obese. New mini-goal: 215
I am stoked. Today for the first time in months I could do jump back chaturanga with NO PAIN IN MY FOOT. Can you tell I am excited? And that no pain continued through my whole yoga practice today. Yay!
My mini goal is to get into the 160s. I'm 175.6 as of today, so hoping to achieve this goal within a few weeks. I started at 213 in September, and being able to cross another "decade" off the list is one of my favorite parts of the journey!
I have this really cute skirt that I bought years ago but never found an occasion to wear it to. This year, I want to do a social distanced picnic and the skirt calls be worn outside.
I’m really very happy with my every day auto-pilot foods/sweets/snacks.
I decided to challenge myself to switch my daily sweets (chocolate) to a few of the stevia/sugar free options. I already eat pretty dark chocolate so I anticipate that this won’t be too difficult.
I don’t have a vendetta against sugar, but I figure having less of it overall won’t be a harmful decision
This same concept goes for the few processed snacks we have in the house. One of my kids has a peanut allergy so we’re already fairly selective with what can even safely be in the house. (You’d be surprised what sorts of things are packaged on shared equipment or in a shared facility as peanuts).
However, I’d like to challenge myself to see if I can come up with manageable alternatives. This isn’t for the sake of weight loss. Everything either fits into CICO, or it doesn’t.
All in all it’s just a further refining of my nutritional hopes. If this works, great!! If it doesn’t, then I’ll just go back to what I was doing a week or so ago.
I bought a pair of jeans from the OP shop, that is size 16 (not 18 or 20, my usual sizes). I want to fit in it. (Could not try it at the store as they closed their changing rooms because of COVID.)
Well, turns out I kinda do fit in it, but I'd like to move in it comfortably and not feel like a stuffed sausage.
So, a few months later, same goal but with a pair of size 14 jeans. The pair I bought back then now is so big on me several people have commented on it.

So close - 295.4 this morning. I really want to hit 295 by Friday because I have a doctor's appointment and want to show him my progress.

Dr appointment today - hit 294.4! Made my short term goal.
New short term goal is to hit 290 lbs by the end of the month.
