    I really struggle with controlling the amount of food I eat.

    Hello, I'm new to this. I officially started on Sunday.

    Coming off the weekend, success was getting myself to the treadmill and I ran a mile. It's was a huge feat for me. I also tracked and maintained my calorie count without eating into the 75 calories I burned for that mile.

    Continuing the workout and watching what I eat will be the challenge. But that's why I'm here.

    Wrong direction scale! I'm hoping this is just a blip.

    The scale may say I have gone up, but my jeans are saying I'm losing my Christmas weight gain.

    Just over a week to go. We can do this!!!

    Accomplishments..... I journaled alot and did over 10000 steps a day. How could I forget I shoveled a ton of snow.

    Biggest struggle: controlling the amount of food. One day I had entered 2500 calories for one day. :(

    Well the good news is I didn't gain weight! I'm cool with where I'm at because I know I'm working out more and feeling better so even if the scale doesn't move, I feel better. Now to see if I can get that last 1.4 lbs before the month is out!

    Clearly not going to make 5 # in January but I'll take the 3# and keep on keeping on. I have a good exercise routine in place and as long as I stay consistent with my eating, I'm confident it will come off, slowly but surely. The plus side I FEEL so much BETTER because I am exercising and eating better.
