Islander60. Lovely to read all your stories. 1st time I've posted...didn't know these forums were here. What a newbie! Anyhoots I've just turned 60...have 10kg to lose...lost 7kg over a year ago...became complacent and back it piled on so MFP will be invaluable. Lost the weight previously through cutting out sugars and consuming lots of green vegies and smoothies plus cutting out dairy. Incidentally eating green and sugar-free also reduced my pain (chronic pain from back). I do yoga daily and have done so for 8 years and am now attempting to find time to exercise for another hour every day. Do weights twice a week as well, being carefu
l of my back. My motivation? I have one gorgeous grandson of 8 and a grandaughter due in April and I want to still be able to bodyboard and run around with them in 10 years time. I truly love this time of life...and I need to be fit and healthy for all the adventures I still want to have.
