Fitbit not syncing steps with mfp

Hi I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting my Fitbit etc but I still can't get the steps updated on mfp. It was working fine yesterday. It syncs my food from mfp to Fitbit but not steps from Fitbit to mfp.

Help!

On your MFP phone app, select "Steps" from the menu, and make sure that "Fitbit Tracker" is the selected device.

However, you mentioned that food goes from MFP to Fitbit and mentioned that steps from Fitbit aren't showing on MFP, but you didn't say whether calories burned are transferring from Fitbit to MFP. Are you getting a "Fitbit Calorie Adjustment" on the exercise tab (or in the Diary on the MFP phone app)? If not, then that's a different problem.

Hi thanks for replying. I have checked that Fitbit is the selected device and have even tried turning it off and on again. Yesterday I did get a calorie adjustment. But today no steps, I haven't been very active today so I don't expect an adjustment (been trying to sort this out all day!). My iPhone was dead this morning and I had to charge it before I could sync, that's the only difference to all the other days so I don't know if that has something to do with it.

If you have negative adjustments enabled (which is a good idea if you're ever less active than your selected activity level), you should almost certainly have a calorie adjustment - maybe negative, but still an adjustment. The chance that your adjustment is exactly 0 is quite low.

Remember, the display of your steps in MFP is just that - the display of your step count. Your step count has no effect on your calorie adjustment.

Also, you might try checking things on the web site and not just on the phone app, if you can.

I have the same issue - my Fitbit charge HR is working as is the Fitbit app, but yesterday and today no steps shown on mfp - and I have checked that Fitbit is still selected as my source of steps information because the mfp iOS app does seem to reboot itself to no steps counted quite often. And no calorie adjustment shown where there should have been one.

I'm also having the same problem today. It's worked perfectly up to now. Has anyone managed to fix it?

    Nope, it's still pooched. It's MFP's problem, not Fitbit's.
