My Cize dvds just came in the mail. I'm trying to get better at logging calories burned in aerobics classes and things. Do you find the general categories of logging to be somewhat accurate?

Not usually. Eat back about half of what MFP says you burned.

Everything or just aerobics. I figured counts were high but didn't think it was double. :s

Eating 50-70% of exercise calories is the general rule of thumb (and works for me), but it obviously varies from person to person, workout to workout, day to day. You can always start by eating 100% back, and if after a few weeks you find you aren't losing at the rate you desire, lower it to 80% etc.

I normally only look at the calories burned if I go over on my food just to see if I'm ok. I aim to stay in my calorie goals regardless so I'm probably under calories so I'm trying to be more accurate and conscious of calories burned.

It's really tough to be accurate with, unfortunately. I use the mfp entries, or what mapmyrun gives me for my run, and always aim to have about 50% of the exercise calories left at the end of the day. If/when this stops working, I guess I'll have to lower (though I'm within spitting distance of my goal so maybe I'm on track).
I absolutely have to eat some exercise calories back, particularly in run days, as I tend to run 14-20km, which mapmyrun tells me burns around 800-1200 calories. Lmao, I wish! But I take the extra 400-600, if I didn't if fall in a heap!
