Any advice for a newby?

Weigh all your food and measure your liquids. It's an eye opener.
Believe in MFP and stick to your calorie limits. Choose a reasonable weight loss goal (usually 1 lb/week) to keep your journey sustainable.

What are your goals? Everyone has different goals and my advice will change depending upon them.
But generally….Connect with people here (feel free to add me FullLifeNeil). Ask questions. Be accurate with your measurements of food and tracking. DON'T CUT YOUR CALORIES TOO MUCH (i.e. don't starve)! Workout! Don't just do cardio. Love yourself and be proud for starting…most people give up on themselves far too easy. Learn what macros are.
