I HATE REST DAYS...anyone else?

I'm just starting out and a rest day just makes me worry that I won't be able to start up again when the rest day is over0

I feel blobby and gross when I have a day where I don't work out, but I realize that's all in my head. Obviously, in the space of one day, my entire muscle mass has not turned to Jello. I think some people (including me...and perhaps you, OP?) tend to engage in all-or-nothing thinking. Indeed, I feel that's what landed me here, in overweight-ville. I either ate next to nothing, or ate until I was sick. This was my pattern for so many years. NOT healthy, and I'm not just talking from a physical perspective.

Yes! Today was supposed to be mine. I ended up logging 5mi in the mtns. Easy stuff though. Will be GTG for tomorrow's 22mi long run. Distance runner.0
