Do all the parameters change if you gain or lose weight?

Just hoping things change automatically as I downsize. I wouldn't think that I would be at 1800 calories after dropping a significant amount of weight. I log in and add in my new weight and measurements but it still says I haven't logged in in over 1700 days...so I am confused.

When I lose around 5 pound I goto setting update diet/fitness profile. There is a spot that will show your weight. Make whatever changes you need to then hit update or save at the bottom. It will take you to a new screen that shows in red your new calorie total.0

If you picked guided setup, your calorie goal should update automatically for every 10 pounds (I think). But you can set your goals yourself, and adjust to fit your real calorie expenditure.
If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal,
If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal,
If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal,
If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal, and
If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal.0 -
I've never seen my goals change unless I go in and reset them, which I do every month or so as I reduce in size. I don't use the calculator, though. I just reduce them and see what happens after a week or two.0

Ok I will see if I am on auto or if I have to manually reset things0

MFP will keep a running tally of weight change since the last time you set or reset your goals. Once you have entered a current weight that is at least 10 pounds fewer than the last time you reset your goals, MFP will prompt you to ask if you want to update your goals. If you always update your goals before you have logged a 10 pound change in weight, you will not see the MFP prompt.
