    It's only been in the last 5 years that I realized how growing up with an alcoholic and unloving mother has influenced my behaviors and decisions. I think I am now a better person.

    Today is the one year anniversary of me taking a fall while on vacation. In that year I have undergone 2 separate surgeries on my knee and countless hours of rehab. To this day I still cannot straighten my leg or walk up stairs.

    My orthopedic surgeon is at a loss as to why. Tuesday I go for another opinion ...hopefully this Dr can figure it out.

    I picked up and moved to where I live now with not knowing a single person, not for work reasons and never having even been here before. Crazy!
