Didn't get a chance to post a starting weight last week since I was out of town. I finally jumped on the scale today and was not entirely disappointed. I am going for a 20 pound weight loss by July 4. More would be great! I start a workout/nutrition/fitness challenge at my gym in a few days, so I will have my teammates to help me along the way. Let's do this!

I weighed in yesterday. 5 lb loss! Wow! I am doing well with 64 oz. per day of water. I am sticking to 1500 calories per day and watching my macros. I have noticed some hunger at night, but I think that is because I am so used to snacking before bed. My mind is playing tricks on me. I don't really need to eat before bed, but it is hard to break myself of that habit. I had a friend over last night for movie watching. She ate mexican food. It smelled awesome! I had just had a big salad with tuna for dinner, so I wasn't hungry. Victory! I feel good about the changes I have made so far. I bought some new seasonings and a new hot sauce (not usually a fan of hot sauce, but I need to jazz things up somehow.) I am hoping this downward trend continues! Not working out much yet, but that will improve with my group workouts scheduled for this week. Onward to another successful week!

Due to TOM, no change on the scale this week. That is disappointing after a week of perfect eating and tracking, but not entirely unexpected. On a positive note, at least I didn't gain! I think my healthy habits will show on the scale next week.
