I just made a purchase of a few things for the first time in a while. Got a lamp that clips onto your monitor, cause my co-workers like to turn off the lights for some reason. I also got some snap caps, and anti-lead wipes for the shooting range. And finally, I got some card sleeves for my board games.

A sweater at TJ Maxx that was $30, which to me is a lot for anything at TJ Maxx...but it's very cute AND has the coolest texture and cut...it's like halfway between a scuba suit and ultrasoft sweater. I immediately snagged it and know I'll wear it a ton this fall/winter.

Groceries at costco. 4 lbs of frozen shrimp meat for about $30 (per oz about the same as high-end catfood) to share between me (on salads, rice, etc) and 2 cats (treats). A bunch of individually wrapped frozen mahi-mahi servings (go look at the macros on that--awesome!). Some shelf-stable vegan Indian food and brown rice packets--its a lot of carbs but about 600 calories and near-zero effort, for those days when I'm too wiped out want to cook and am therefore vulnerable to eating what is easy instead of what is food (tore ligaments with too much sport & not enough shoe, currently in a removable walking cast). A waterpik massage showerhead that was on sale.

Leather gardening gloves and a lime-scented unsweetened sparkling water at Lowes (same trip/next door).

Temperature here that day was either 103°F or 113°F depending upon whose weatherstation you check on weatherunderground.
