One again I am struggling. Since the week before my wedding I haven't eaten well and I am totally regretting it. I haven't ate the worst but not as well as I should. I have been highly stressed with the wedding 2 weeks ago, reception, honeymoon, and some other personal stuff. I even took some days not to log into myfitnesspal. I don't know to get back to being motivated and get back on track. I have been off an on the past month and am afraid I'm not gonna get back on track....any advice?

Getting in the habit of logging, using the logging streak as motivation! Log good or bad no matter what. See if you can make improvements in your diary. You can do this!

Take a deep breath and remember to be kind to yourself. This is about a long term goal. The short term might have been bumpy, but you can do this. Focus on all the things that will feel better as you get lighter.

You've had a lot on your plate, and I'm not surprised that logging food hasn't been very high on your agenda.

I think the best way to get back on track is to start logging again. Don't try to punish yourself with a massive deficit - pick something moderate (half - one pound a week) and just commit to logging, even if you go over calories on some days. I find that just logging food makes me concious of the choices I'm making and it's easy to think about a reasonable portion size or saying no to another slice of cake or a beer if I know I've already eaten a lot today.
Once you are back in the swing of this, and back into a routine again, you can cut down further if that's right for you.
