Hey, first post here!

Looking to get some tips. What are your meal prep for the day like? I need to start preparing lunch to take to work instead of going to the local shops because 1. healthier and 2. save money!

What recipes/foods do you suggest, on a budget and dieting to lose weight. Also quick breakfast tips would be good because I tend to skip or grab a small apple (which I know isn't good!).

Looking forward to responses!

I usually take enough food to work for a couple lunches so I don't have to prepare daily. This is just what I tend to eat, but I make a couple sandwiches, portion out servings of chips or fruit. I'll bring servings of cottage cheese. Always keep a few protein bars/fiber one bars there too. I drink the low calorie drink mixes so I keep a box of those and a water bottle at the office. A frozen meal or two if you have a freezer there would work.

And there's nothing wrong with fruit in the morning, or fruit in general. My morning food has to be fast so it's usually a protein bar, peanut butter crackers, yogurt, oatmeal or eggs if I have a few minutes to cook them quick.

I prep my lunch for work the night before. For me it's a sandwich, baby carrots, and some combination of string cheese, almonds, or a hard boiled egg.

For breakfast lately it's either Greek yogurt or mini egg frittatas. I make up a batch of the frittatas on Sunday for the week so I can heat them up and run. There's no problem skipping breakfast or having an apple as long as you feel okay and don't have any medical need for breakfast.

We usually make double of whatever for dinner and then take the leftovers for lunch...if not, I pack a sandwich...about once per week I just go to Subway.

We make a big batch of quinoa or brown rice or sweet potatoes or beans something on Sundays to take to work for the week.
