Morning all, I tracked yesterday, but it was awful as I ate my anger the last few min of my night. (working on just going to bed). I walked and went to the park, so got some movement in. That was good. Ok I was looking at what you are talking about as a rebounder...it's a mini trampoline? Baby girl jumps and jumps and jumps and we have talked about getting her a small trampoline for the back yard with a net around it...and now I am wondering...LOL

@theslightedgeforever funny thing is I bought a planner for meals that already has everything for you, grocery list meals planned, etc...haven't used it...yes it's time to use it and modify if needed.

@trooworld You weekend just wore me out.. LOL. Yes I do need to plan..I hate when someone asks me whats for dinner...I want to say YOU FIGURE IT OUT..I am tired. Good job o your water...I actually drank 3 of my containers yesterday..I was trying that instead of grabbing a snack..first. LOL

@cbabie I'm sorry about the anger but it's good you tracked and walked. My weekend...I know, right? Too busy! That's great that you reached for water before a snack. Great plan!

Hi all. I lost 1.6 lbs today on my home scale. I still have to weigh in at WW scale in a while but I'm happy with this loss. Not much going on here, going to that blues festival today and I'm looking forward to it. It should be fun. We are going to take a Lyft down there. Have a good weekend!

    Water yesterday: 60 oz

Morning all, I did better choices yesterday. I looked at labels before I ate it and decided if it was worth it at that very moment. LOL. I was still a little over, but I am happy with my choices. I went for a bike ride yesterday, but mostly vegged on the couch watching show I have been trying to watch for 3 weeks now. LOL. I almost forgot..I sewed some too. LOL

@trooworld yea on the loss, you are doing great. Great idea to take a Lyft today. I hope you enjoy and relax!!!

@trooworld Congrats on your loss this week! Have a great time at the blues festival. That sounds like so much fun!

@cbabie glad you are making better choices. It’s tough, I know but we just gotta keep trying. :)

Hello! Sorry that I’ve been missing. I let the Pig out a couple of days ago and was in full control for a couple of days. Last night I had a bottle of wine and ate all the snacks I could find in the house. I woke up feeling awful, but I made myself do a workout which helped. I also joined the Never Binge Again intensive program that starts on Monday. I thought I could just do it alone, but I don’t think I can. I don’t think I can really stop the lifelong bad habits of binge eating without really getting to my root issues. Hopefully, this program will help me do that. We will see! :/

@trooworld Did you get groceries yet? I'd love to have a personal shopper for that. I see those commercials on TV and think that would be nice to have someone go get my groceries. Ignore the scale and keep working towards those blue dots.

@cbabie Yaaay on doing some things you consider fun. What show did you watch? You tracked and you feel good about your choices. That's progress.

@teresaw1020 Was the wine a trigger? Where does wine fall into your Pig rules? I started my Never Binge Again program on Thursday. So far so good. I'm doing colored cycling days like I did before but not counting carbs but calories. I'm trying to incorporate more veggies, beans, and legumes and that won't work with carbs. Instead of a Pig mine is a Beast. I also have a Sloth. I'm on the first draft of my rules. I had to make Fridays an Orange day instead of Yellow since I have decided to allow eggs on Orange days. With dh being retired now sometimes he wakes up and says let's go out to breakfast. Usually toward the weekend. So I feel eggs/omelettes would be a better breakfast choice. Let me know if you learn anything new in the intensive program.

Yesterday I said no to donuts and had only one cheese bread instead of two like I normally would. Today I said no to a cinnamon bun. I've exercised for 30 min to a video with 50-60's music. It was fun. I still need to go do my stretching. The front of my thighs are killing me. I don't know what kind of exercise or movement I would have done lately but it's muscle pain in both legs in the same place. I'm giving myself green dots if I meet my water goal, exercise goals, and calorie goals. One green dot for Friday. Yaaay. On to today.....

    Hi All!

Had a nice busy day off finally after a 12 day stretch. I’m wiped out. Got paint to start painting the walls and supplies. Now to just clean and paint. Got work for the next 6 days. Hopefully will get a chance to deep clean the walls before painting.
Hope all is well. My mind is blah at this point. Lol.

@cbabie Yay for better choices! Great job. It sounds like you may have tracked too? And you sewed? Woo hoo! Thanks, we had fun.

@TeresaW1020 Thank you, it was fun! I'm sorry about the snack attack. I hope the intensive program helps you, hugs.

@theslightedgeforever I did get groceries yesterday before my WW meeting. Oh sometimes I do have a personal shopper for my groceries (Instacart) but I hate paying the fee so I rarely use them. You've been exercising your "no" muscle, that's great. That isn't easy at all, so I commend you. The green dots are a great idea. Are you feeling like you are fully on track?

@gemwolf110 I hope you find the time to get your painting done.

Hi all. Well, the festival did NOT go as planned. I had pretracked what I was going to eat and drink and well, Nutella beignets happened so did 2 additional beers. Then, when we got home, we were hungry so we ordered a caesar salad and pizza. Gah! The good news is I walked over 11,000 steps and danced some so I did earn activity points.

Mother's Day is painful for me, I may have mentioned this before. I didn't have a good relationship with my mother when she was alive and never felt loved by either of my parents. I don't have children. This day is kind of a big dagger in my heart. I stay off social media for the day because all of the "Happy Mother's Day"s are too much for me. If this is your day, then I hope you have a good one. If you are like me, well, hugs to you. I see you.

@theslightedgeforever Wine wasn’t in my pig rules but maybe it should be. I wasn’t going to drink anything this month, but then so much went wrong that when I went into the store and walked past the wines, I just grabbed my favorite and put it in my cart. Haha, I need to have a Sloth too! Fitting the eggs in your routine so it works for you is a good idea. I have eggs almost every day because it’s quick and tasty. Good job on saying no to foods that are not on your plan! I will let you know what I learn. :)

@gemwolf110 Are you painting all the walls in your house? I love to paint but setting up and cleaning up are a pain. I need to repaint my bathroom at some point. :)

@trooworld OK, you had more indulgences than planned at the festival and after you came home, so just get right back on track today. Was the music good? We are both of the same opinions about Mother’s Day. I plan to stay off FB today too and just stay busy. :/

Good morning! It’s cool out and we are sitting here waiting to go to church. Joe is feeling better, but he is still so dang weak. We had an argument that he couldn’t wear jeans that are literally falling off his scrawny butt. He’s been living in sweats, so he thinks pants that actually fit him are too tight. Ugghh! :s I’m excited to start the new intensive program tomorrow and really hoping that it will help me stay more focused while giving me some really useful tools along the way. Tonight, I’m making enchiladas because they are mom’s favorite, and then next week, it’s going to be mostly a very low-carb week. I’ve been allowing way too many carbs in and that needs to stop. Have a great day!

@gemwolf110 You sound so busy. I hope you have time for self care.

@trooworld Am I fully on track? For the most part, yes. Still working on the water. I think holidays are hard in general. So many expectations and reality never meets expectations.

@teresaw1020 I'm excited to hear about your new program. Anything else we can learn.

I earned another green dot for the week

Afternoon all, I tracked yesterday, indulged a little, but "knew" what I was doing, it wasn't mindless. LOL.
I also went for a 30 min walk, walking off energy that I needed to get rid of...

Today I didn't make the best choice I was so hungry after church and I had been literally crying since last night it feels, that I ate my PB sandwich..not that it's horrible, I just know it uses up most of my fat grams. LOL. Funny story at church, Pastor was talking about how God holds all your tears..I texted his wife and said God has a lake with my name on it. After church, I got a ha ha ha.. I understand about certain holidays, frankly none are good for me, but I try to make it good for others. Yes sister I don't sit anymore with my arms crossed..LOL.

@TeresaW1020 I laughed about your comment on the binge eating...and you new program..I said I know what causes mine and they live with me....so now to figure out how to turn that around...I am working on it...glad DH is feeling better and soon he will get his strength back.

@gemwolf110 I am worn out reading your post...(you work the next 6 days...and you want to deep clean and paint). UGH...I will let you do all that and I will just read about all your energy and refreshing your house. LOL. I know just think about all the calories you will burn and it will look so great when your done right? LOL

@trooworld Sorry it did't turn out as planned, but teresa is right..keep doing what you have been doing and you are still in control...I always say 1 day is not a lifetime unless you make it that way. LOL. (trying to teach myself that). :)

@theslightedgeforever I saw your dots and thought I am back in grade school..ugh I was never a kid. so maybe it's good I watch you guys with all your dots and be in grade school.. Just do it for fun.. Then maybe I can jump on the dot wagon..but can I have Pink? LOL. great job on the exercises and for the food choices.. yes eggs are good in my book.

Lol I know there’s a lot going on. Just keep telling myself to just keep swimming as Dori in finding Nemo says. Ha. Yes going to be painting my walls finally. I may have to take some time off to do so.

Hope all the moms had a Happy Mother’s Day!

@TeresaW1020 Yeah the problem was that since yesterday was Mother's Day, we were celebrating that with my MIL. But the good news is that I didn't have much to eat: 1/16 of the quiche + a small piece of cake + mimosas and I didn't eat dinner. I had a little bit of yogurt + fruit in the morning but that's it. So, I did pretty well overall yesterday. The music was excellent! Yeah, that's what I did yesterday besides going over to my BIL's apartment for a few hours. Hugs. I'm glad Joe is feeling better. Good luck with the intensive program, let us know how it is!

@theslightedgeforever Glad to hear you are mostly on track. That's true about holidays. Yay for another green dot!

@cbabie That's good it wasn't mindless. And yay for a walk and tracking. Awww, that makes me sad that you have a lake of tears. I hope things get better so your lake dries up. You are right, 1 day is not a lifetime I can choose to do better the rest of the week and I am. I ate pretty well yesterday despite it being a holiday that upsets me.

Hi all. I did pretty well yesterday eating-wise. See my response to Teresa above. No time to talk, we just discovered we have a leak coming from above in our bathroom. TTYL.

Morning all, I didn't eat well yesterday, calorie wise and fat grams wasn't horrible, but not a lot of protein for me, more carbs than anything... I know that protein is what my body needs, however I was down .4 on the scale..I take it as it was not UP .4 LOL oh yeah I also went to the park for over an hour with baby girl...got a slide burn on my arm from going down the slide too close on one side..LOL

@gemwolf110 I hope you do take some time off.....

@trooworld So sorry to hear about your leak, I pray its minimal....so glad you did well yesterday. The main thing I got out of your post was you were happy with your choices...so that is GOOD. It's a horrible feeling to not be happy with our choices...I know a couple of my choices yesterday made me crabby. LOL

@cbabie Do you still tap your foot? LOL Try some pink dots. It's fun. Yaaay on your loss.

@gemwolf110 I'm sure your house will look so nice when it's done. Are you getting proper nutrition during this busy time?

@trooworld Yes it's just one day and you could earn some more blue dots this week. Oh no on the leak.

Did not earn another dot as I didn't finish all my water. So just 2 for last week. I'll start over again tomorrow
I also lost 0.4 lbs since last week. I just noticed I haven't entered my weight into MFP since Feb 27. I'm 3 lbs higher since then. Good thing I keep track on my Happy Scale app.

@cbabie Yeah, protein is important. Congrats on being down! I got a side burn on one of my arms from the festival Saturday. :) Thank you re: the leak. They will have to take the drywall off of most of the bathroom, I don't know what else yet. Yeah, I know what you mean about choices that make you crabby lol.

@theslightedgeforever Yeah I can, thanks. Congrats on the loss! I wish Happy Scale was available for Android but it's not. I use an app called Libra but it isn't like Happy Scale that much.

Hi all. The most frustrating thing about the water leak is that the bathroom was just remodeled in June of 2020 for the same reason (a leak from above). Remember when I was without a shower for 3 months? So no work has been done (yet), they are waiting on an official report from a plumber. The guy above has to call the plumber out but he thinks that he knows what caused the leak: he thinks that his tenant overflowed the bathtub. That doesn't fix the water in our walls and ceiling grrrrrh. I'm so very stressed and trying to keep calm but it's hard. I worry. I worry about dealing with someone irrational that owns the condo above. I worry very much about money. I worry "what next", what else is going to happen due to the owner upstairs not taking care of their unit? I worry about taking time off work.

I didn't start my day off well yesterday, I ate a breakfast burrito at work and then left at noon to come deal with this. I ate well after that. I don't know what today holds for me. I know what I will eat, though.

@trooworld Big hugs. Think about NOW. I'm a big worrier too but we can't change anything and rarely what I worry about comes true anyway. It's just a big energy eater. Then stress comes. Cortisol floods our body. That causes problem. So think about NOW. Can you do anything about those things NOW. The only time we have to change things is NOW. Because the future becomes NOW at some point.

No green dot- Reason: water and exercise Food was good though.

Afternoon all, I have been up since 5am and just got home and am exhausted. However, it is what it is..LOL. I fixed me an egg sandwich instead of PB for lunch as I was starving...trying to make better choices. I haven't yet exercised and not sure that I will.

@trooworld I am so sorry about the leak and I do remember that. However, my sis and I agree on the worry. I am a huge worrier, and I am speaking from my own experience...try singing this in your head for awhile. I really and sorry and will pray that you have a better experience this time than last time.

@theslightedgeforever Thank you. Worrying is a big energy eater indeed. I did some things to calm down yesterday: I lit a candle and journaled, I also watched a silly winter Hallmark movie. I felt more relaxed. That's good advice. I need to work on my water again, too. I just dropped everything when this happened.

@cbabie The egg sandwich was definitely a better choice, lots of protein in that. Thank you, I actually calmed down quite a bit after I watched a Hallmark movie and journaled. Thank you for the Doris Day tune. The lyrics are spot on! :D

Hi all. Today, the leak detection specialist will come out and inspect both my unit and the upstairs unit to determine what happened and who's responsible. After that, they will tear down the drywall and dry out the walls. I'm hoping that it will be the HOA's responsibility again as I don't want to have to deal with the upstairs neighbor any more than I have to.

Eating was crappy again yesterday (just meaning I got into snack bars) but my lunch and dinner were healthy. I'm going to take it one day at a time right now.

    Water yesterday: 10 oz

Morning all, well I went back to my old habit yesterday of eating my emotions before I went to bed. My goal is to make better choices again today, but ALL day..LOL. Baby girl work up crying 3 times last night, not sure what triggered that, and I had to get up at 5, so I am a little tired. It starting to look like I am going to have to go back to the days I only get 4 hours sleep...LOL just to get done what I WANT to get done. I chose strawberry yogurt in my oatmeal today instead of my butter..2 grams of fat vs 10...

@trooworld So glad to see you KNEW what to do to be calm and not worry and you DID it. I wonder why a candle light makes us feel calm. I certainly hope the HOA takes claim for you.. You got this, you are making such great strides in your health journey.

Hello! I know it's been a while and I'm sorry that I can't do replies tonight. I'm just too worn out. I had to call an ambulance for Joe this morning because he has been sick all week and this morning he passed out. He has a very bad UTI, probably due to the catheter. Plus some other infections and his sodium were low again. It took hours to get him to a room and I finally caved and ate junk from the vending machines. But at least I came home to eat eggs and toast and not Chick-Fil-A like I normally do when he goes into the hospital. I wrote to my NBA coach and did my program tasks. I'm NOT going to throw in the towel! Giving up on my dreams is not going to help Joe one little bit. I just have to keep telling that stupid Pig the same thing! ;)
