    I find this place feels toxic at times, didn't feel that way until recently. Some people change their names for personal reasons, others are hiding behind a name because they aren't supposed to be here (which is fine if they're being respectful) but some of them can't act nice. It's too bad but there will always be people like that. I've left so many times because of this but not anymore, I just choose to not share too much now. I save that for my wall and my amazing friends list.

    Much like @ReenieHJ I'm clueless AND confused when it comes to the name changes or (temporary) disappearing. I get the need for personal choice, yet...

    🗣️ How am I supposed to admiringly stalk people and/or make effusive compliments on their alluring photos if I don't know they changed their name?

    Sometimes it is easier to tell who is who, off of how they express themselves but, YEESH, I miss quite a few MFPers.

    Still, if they left because they feel the forums are toxic for them, then their health is what matters most 🤗
