    Starting weight: 226.4
    Goal weight: 175
    Last week weight: 207.5
    This week weight: 203.0
    This week loss: 4.5
    Total weight loss: 23.4

    Weekly update:
    Last week I said, “Ah well, I will have a fantastic loss to post next Monday.” There it is: 4.5 I had a salt filled weigh in last week. This week I watched what I ate closely, consumed at least 64 ounces of liquid a day and exercised every day. Now I remain on track for the year. Yay me!

    <3 70,000+ steps for the week (Sat - Sun) right now I have 63,264 of 70,000. I think I will make this.
    <3 Get the momentum back. Weight must be less that 205 next weigh in
    <3 Water focus - drink, drink, drink

    Next week’s challenges
    I am checking in a couple of days early as today I head over to Daytona Beach for a long weekend. While that is certainly not a challenge, behaving myself is. So I will keep the same basic goals list.
    • 70,000+ steps for the week (Sat - Sun) right now I have 63,264 of 70,000. I think I will make this.
    • Keep focused on intake & control
    • Water focus - drink, drink, drink
    • Fully close three items off work to-do list

    Congratulations to all doing well on this challenge! I read and compare my slow but steady progress. Last year my total was -37# with a arthroscopic knee surgery in Sept. I'm now at -19#.

    Plan to stick with this 32 more weeks!

    Successes: Got back into the gym after 2 weeks off because of work travel.

    Challenges: eating out. It caught up to me too. I was tired this week, and ate too many carbs.

    Week's goal: cut out refined carbs and sugar.

    This week's successes: I kept my vacation gain under the four pound goal I had set for myself. I made choices and said no to many things I would have eaten in the past, but still enjoyed the food, including one gastronomic meal that probably accounts for nearly all of the gain. It was nice to have a break, but I am happy to be back in my MFP regime.

    Challenges: Starting a new strengthening program for beginners.

    Cut back on night time eating. Started to reduce amount of fruits I was eating too.

    Next weeks challenge: Taking first kayaking lesson Saturday. Learn how to kayak to add a new summertime activity.

    Get through May with being right on target! 21 weeks , minus 21.4 Lbs!
